Dave, your very right. It's been hard but it ain't just this season. It's a season and a half now, new personnel, 5 manager's, Julian back but the same problems keep occurring. It can't just be the players, I'm not buying that.

Their is one consistent in all of this.

I've said it before, the rivers run deep and I hate to say it but I think @Ricc@Ricc will not be far off with his prediction of starving of relegation to the national league.

Hopefully, I'm so wrong and you can personally take the mickey out of me in 12 months time.

So you want rid of the man who is worth 140 million Euros and who at the moment is bailing us out and stopping us from going into administration, and he doesn’t interfere with team affairs. Interesting!

Well if he was going to cut and run, he would have put us into admin in January. I have explained my view of his choices in another post. Plus no point in him staying if he is not going to invest and support the club, madness in fact. He has already invested loads, in buying the club, but also last season, largest budget for 15 years. His biggest mistake is leaving the club in the hands of Rahic, second biggest mistake is not keeping a close eye on his investment. He is now paying both in terms of reputation and financially for his mistakes. I am prepared to wait, to see if he is going to properly invest this summer. Won’t be cheap, but he has his chance now to prove he is behind this club.

He may be worth €140m. He may be 'bailing' us out from so called administration but you think he is doing it for purely the love of it?

Just like Gibb, I feel this will have medium term consequences in that the club will rightfully, have to aim to be self sufficient but he will want his monies back over a number of years at xyz amount on a fixed term basis . This will impact on the playing personnel Imo. I just can't see why he would not do that. I wouldn’t blame him.

But he is the consistent factor in our downfall. He is still here, the problems are still here.

But it's only my opinion. I hope I am proved wrong

Spot on .. but I would be far happier if we held the asset of owning our own stadium.Flimsy foundations for Stefan's tenure.(or any future for that matter)

I agree its a good thing to own your own ground rather than be at the mercy of a landlord but the club know where they stand with regards annual rent, I'd refer to have a good squad, although personally I could never envisage a time when we would want to buy the stadium back.
Maybe if there was interest from Gibb in owning the club it could be different, as they say "never say never".

You have to wonder why we need bailing out in the first place. Some suggest it is just the making of Edin.

I'm not convinced. And I'm even more convinced that this businessman is not doing it for the love of it.

13,108 tickets sold going by Simon Parker.

Lets hope Rupp can walk the walk after all the talk he's given. anything less than promotion will be failure.

Hi Dave.As we have mostly had to live on borrowed funding,I felt that a little equity behind us would enable easier borrowing options and make us if run properly, more of an attractive proposition to buyers. It's never plain sailing with us is it mate..:)

He shouldn’t. People are sick of false promises.

Stay quiet and put the money in as much as possible, to give Bowyer as much backing as possible.

    I totally agree.

Sydney mention Rupp should walk the walk and mentioned promotion - I don't remember hearing anything regarding that.

    @Glenn Ackroyd@Glenn Ackroyd

2019/20 ‘Our City’ season-ticket holders have until May 1 to change their seat - FREE of charge!

This year’s ‘Seat Swap’ will get underway from 9.00am on Wednesday (April 17) - when season tickets go back on sale - following last night’s 50% price rise deadline.

More than 12,000 season tickets were sold and an updated total will be unveiled later today.

Anyone wishing to change their seat after Wednesday May 1 can do so, though will incur a £15 administration charge.

The Northern Commercials Stadium ticket office is closed on Friday (April 19).

Glenn, does this have to be done in person at the football club.

With every respect Onside who else would take on the 2 million debt. He is undoubtedly bailing us out from the disastrous decisions of his ex colleague Rahic. If he walked away and cut his losses we would be in a Bolton Bury situation and not paying wages.
