I've said it before, but not everyone will automatically go buy a season ticket like most on here because we're city fans. I'm sure I've seen a stat that we have lost more games this season than the last 3 combined? Sometimes it takes a bit longer to commit for these fans.

 

That is a shocking stat, just goes to show once you start losing its difficult to turn it around, as Grayson, Hopkin and now Bowyer have found out.

 

Down at the ticket office about 1pm today, asked if sales had bee'n brisk. Said it had bee'n more than brisk and was amazed at how many city fans where coming back.

 

@Bradford End do you know what the rough split is between ST and Flexi in that 13,300, and how that compares with last seasons split?

Doesn't matter if there coming down as kids they'll get the Bradford City bug just like we did and once you have it it's hard to give it up, or should I say in my case it is.

 

Broncs - I think that probably applies to most of us. Always gonna be a few get thoroughly disenchanted and fall out of love with it and just fond better things to do with their time. No complaints from me about that, but I reckon its still there, just waiting to reignite.

Bradford City is a losers club at this minute and unlike in your day when beer bellies are acceptable. Kids these days learn about winning and wanting to be the best hence the 6 packs.

Unless the club changes its mentality then they will lose a high percentage of the kids that attend and they will follow your Barca's of the world rather than attach themselves to a club with a losing mentality.

Also lot more for kids to do now then in your time.

 

Is there anyway you can cut the ageists and judgemental patronising attitude? Just asking as it seems for you it is open season again on being thoroughly objectionable to anybody who disagrees with you. You may have the shallow standards as you describe who knows, or you just maybe a windup merchant, either way it is boring.
