Definitely. We all knew the goals return of the remaining 3 strikers (once Vaughan left) would be negligible, yet the club could only entice a Wolves academy player to save the day. A non prolific one at that.

Just a realist.. come to expect nothing on a Saturday from city. I like every game won. I know that's not possible but I expect 100% from our team. Which we're not getting.
I also expect our Manger to know what he is doing. Don't have confidence in either.

He is a poor Kai Brunker
Gives perspective on just how low the bar is set this season

No expectations from the game. Love to see 3 points, which based solely upon the Bolton v Salford game, is a real possibility.

As its away from home and we are criminally poor away from home, so best I can hope for is a draw. If Cooke and Clarke are out, it just compounds our lack of potential for tomorrow. I mean Zeli and DMH....

What a thoroughly poor way I am thinking about this club (note I do not say my club) that I can't see us winning tomorrow.

    Rupp out.

Would guess car crash (Sutton) will return for Cooke and perhaps we can get a good 3 minutes out of Zeli before the next relapse! :joy:

I’m hoping the unbeaten run continues. I saw things that pleased me against Exeter and things that continue to frustrate me in defence. We are improving, be it slowly but let’s hope there’s more pleasing aspects than frustrations...

Which will happen first then: Zeli injury or Sutton red card?

Don't agree. For all his failings, Kai could not be accused of jack of effort.

Wow, what a miserable and defeatist outlook for the forthcoming game. Yes, there’s been a hell of a lot wrong this season - some quite horrific moments. That said, recent performances and results have indicated rays of light - albeit very small ones.

Of all the negatives of Exeter, and the defending was inexcusably one of them, we still got back in the game and got a draw which most admitted before the game they would be happy with. The second half was mostly an improvement on the first and with a stronger front line we could have perhaps sneaked the win.

Donaldson is getting unfair flack for me. At his age and what’s around him I’m not sure what everyone’s expectations are. For me, certainly in the second half of Exeter, he led the line well and not sure what more he could have done. The issue is more alternative options rather than Donaldson himself. I don’t anticipate he was expecting to be relied upon as much as we have had to since Novak got injured - thankful its he who is fit and not Gutherie.

As for Salford, agree with others in that how we defend from all parts of the pitch is what will make the difference. Concentration and discipline will be important and hope that Sutton (expect him in for Cooke) doesn’t get carried away.

I’d love to think we can sneak it by a goal (1-2 city) but managing my own expectations and will be happy with a draw and a solid performance.

It’s so frustrating that all we want is for certain players to do the absolute minimum that’s required of them.Defenders that do the basics(row z if required)midfielders that track their runners and strikers that take chances at a better rate than 1 in 10.
Sounds so easy when you write it down doesn’t it.

    miserable and defeatist you say?

Well that's the messages the come from the Manager and Captain Admin.

To remind you and others... we're not going for top 3 anyway. And we just need to survive this season. Is it any wonder a large number of fans are fecked off at this club.. the outlook and setup is wrong. One hiccup at city and it takes YEARS to recover. Rewind and repeat.

And probably bigging up the opposition and always sounding like he’s worried about them.

If Clarke and Cooke are both out, there's at least two changes he'll have to make, any further changes will be to try and balance the side.

Just getting in there ahead of time, because this criticism might be unfair this weekend.

As we know, Stuart would never make a change unless a player was completely injured - he'd rather they powered through even if it's badly affecting their performance. Seen it lots of times under Stuart.

You really are one very depressing person, give it a rest. Dont you think fans aren't down enough with the covid-19 situation and being stuck at home without having to put with you droning on continually with negative comments.
