    I agree. I've been watching England v Ireland at Twickenham today. Both squads were well drilled, understood their roles and were fully aware of their team's tactics. I didn't see any barking of orders and waving of arms from either Eddie Jones or Andy Farrell during the game. All their players seemed to know what was expected of them. There's a lesson to be learned from that.

    I honestly don't think that's achievable at the moment Tony.
    The players heads are touching their knees once we conceed.
    This lot couldn't punch their way out of a paper bag.

    Bowyer was bad but he would have done better with this bunch.
    The problem is we made a bad appointment in McCall but it doesn’t mean getting rid of bowyer was the wrong call. We just made it look bad with how poor we are doing currently

    It's a simple game this football.

    We have some decent footballers but 'only' when we are allowed to play and have time on the ball. Exeter allowed us the ball, Mansfield allowed us the ball.

    Today, Salford and Harrogate/Barrow etc. haven't allowed us the ball, they have pressed us high and given us no time on the ball whatsoever, so very little possession to hurt them. Without the possession we don't have the players to win the ball back because they are all 'nice' footballers. Coupled with an absolutely shocking defence that is always likely to concede and forwards who need at least 10 chances to get it in the net, it's not a winning formula.

    Teams have easily sussed us out!!

    19th in the league...15 points from top...-3 goal difference...Barrow, Oldham, Orient, Morecambe above us...

    Just be true to yourself and admit McCall needs to go. He isn't good enough! No excuses like lets wait until Rhodes leaves or this or that. The results, the recruitment, the tactics - Everything has been a total shambles!

    Just in from work, heard we were 3 down at half time and only surprise is it stayed that way.

    I know things are raw on here right now but I have watched my 2nd team, part time Woking, go 2nd in the National League (I know they have played a few games more but what an effort) and the manager is Alan Dowson (who had a season at City as left back). Was a shocking player in his own words :laughing: but could turn out to be the total opposite of McCall (great player) as a manager. Just a thought
