If he is then he deserves to never manage in football again. Its not the easiest job managing a team on a downward spiral like Bradford. But as I've said for God sake he needs to help himself. He was the sole reason of that defeat in Saturday. If I see the same guff regurgitated on Saturday then he deserves all the abuse that would go his way.

I disagree. One of our main gripes is lack of direction or leadership. If the news they put out is a backing of the manager, and acknowledgement of fan unrest, then I’d applaud them for at least recognising that it needs to be addressed.
Staying silent is not the answer.

Please explain how we won't? Go on! We all hope City will do well but this is just a statement with no backing.

We're 3rd from bottom in the form table and have 4 points from 18!

Offer something to the forum and explain your midset please.

We have three wins and two draws in our last 5 home matches and one of the draws was with 10 men overall we have 9 home wins . We can win the next two then start to put right our abysmal away form

I totally agree with you, it does not have to be a marauding attacking performance but fans certainly want to see a lot more than they currently are.

I was shot down prior to the Scunthorpe game that I wanted to see a performance more than the result, this would have at least offered some hope for the future but now we are here. The management, media and some fans clinging to the Cheltenham performance kind of demonstrates this, even though this back to the wall effort should have been something which we excelled at with our setup.

Bowyer is gone, his position is untenable and the quicker the board see that the better. This form has been coming all season long, we were all waiting for the team to gel - well maybe they have now gelled into the style which was being imposed on them, a style which is wholly unacceptable in modern football.

It's difficult to 'gel' when the manager changes half the team every game.

Ok, So we play 2 at home then 2 away.

We haven't won away since October!

Now, you can sit there and feel confident we will get 6 points from our home matches but you can't from the away.

So, it's bloody pointless keeping Bowyer when fans have that mindset.

As shown together it's 4 points from 18.

We will not get into the play offs based on our home form because as you have highlighted it's not a 100% win home form and that's what you need if you're going to count on it.

So if Bowyer is still here on Saturday and we drop points are you going to admit he needs to leave?

About 1,000 I think. So nowhere near Doyle and Vaughan’s combined wage.

Yep! The last thing we need is a meandering set of results, i.e. next few games W,D,W,L,D,L.

I don't want it but heavy defeats to Grimsby and Stevenage - would probably result in a change with still enough matches to get into the play-offs

But on the other hand two wins could make a difference and let's face it, unbelievably, we are not out of anything as we stand now

Hence, when you take into account Bowyers been allowed to bring in players (incidentally someone mentioned he didn't know any of the signings, but apparently he's tried to sign Guthrie before) it's highly unlikely he will be sacked before the end of the Stevenage match

This is a squad, used probably that should be able to get into the Top 7. I'd say that only Plymouth and Swindon look better in terms of the three important things, style on the pitch, strength in depth and organisation off it

But yeah, if we could swoop in Nathan Jones for the rest of the season, I'd have that - problem is we'd end up with a Grayson / Taylor (I'm bigger than this club) type who actually makes things worse

Leave Bowyer in for now and if the nightmare continues, go for one of the new mangers who are impressing, i.e. Matt Taylor - who has a lot of time and respect for us as a club. But that would mean paying a club off a sizeable sum, of course - so it won't happen

Think I mentioned it last week. I described him as fumbling around in the dark hoping that something works and clicks in the team. How can a professional manager not know his best team or system entering February? This is incompetence of the highest level. How can he be trusted to take this team forward for the future? He's got to go he's not up to the task and the players and fans know it. Just hope the board turn too.

But to counter that, since the turn of the year we have not won since NYD, with just 6 goals in 8, joint worse in the league with Stevenage, whom we have acquired a striker that couldn't nail down a first team spot.

Within that same period of 8 games, we have failed to beat all 8 teams in terms of shots on target and corners.

    Shots on target

    Bradford 12 (1.5 per game)
    Opposition 39 (4.88 per game)

    Corners

    Bradford 26 (3.25 per game)
    Opposition 67 (8.38 per game)

Of the 8 opponents, they have netted a combined 19 victories on aggregate, across their last 8 games, so 64 games in total, of which 3 were against us.

I admire your positive attitude but all the stats, form and physical watching of the game, suggests we won't take 6 points from our next 2 home games.

Fingers crossed Park - that we see an improvement in results, but things will need to change on the offensive front at home, fitness, passing and movement too.

Personally I wanted our most successful manager back (win rate of over 64%), but that'll never happen.

In that time we have played 5 games away from home where I agree our form has been terrible. At home we have won one and drawn two one if those with ten men after we had been in front. I think we can win the next two based on that and our home record in general. Then he has to find a way to get results away. If we fail miserably in these two games then I may have to rethink

Many people were shouting for 4-4-2, Bowyer did it in one of the daftest games to do so, a hard physical game at Crawley rather than against a team like Morecambe at home.

Those who seem to support Bowyer used this as a stick to suggest that Bowyer was correct all along, but certainly for the last few games Bowyer has been playing his way and has been seriously found out. Saturday was his classic defensive approach and we were torn to pieces. He has no where to hide.

    Answer questions!

Do you think 4 point some from 18 is acceptable?

By your mind we will win the next 2 home games.

So, if we draw or loss on Saturday making it 4 or 5 points from 21 would you then accept that Bowyer needs to leave?
