I personally think that’s a brilliant plan if he’d accept those terms.

He’s not like that. He loves the club. There’s no harm in asking him!

You’re right. It speaks volumes about Bowyer or Wellens. In truth both. I thought the first 30 mins of the Swindon game was lovely football from them albeit without an end product. The movement and set pieces were a breath of fresh air. A million miles from what we watch. Need change.

I would ask him when managers seem to get one and at most two seasons in these days of social media to achieve why he should be given a sixth chance. And also ask him what happened at Scunthorpe

I'm afraid you reap what you sow in life, Im just about the same age as McCall and grown up through my Bradford City life worshiping the ground he walks upon.
In this instance, i'd honestly hope he doesn't doesnt take the call to arms.

I just think he’d unite the club and get the feel good factor back and gee everyone up. As you imply he was badly treated last time. An all time hero deserved better.

I certainly wouldn’t be sacking Bowyer yet and I hope the powers that be have the courage to back their man just as they did a few years ago with Parky on a bad run.
Next week we could have four or five different players from what we have seen for most of the season. Let’s see what happens.

Don't understand that at all and think it's extremely weak minded. Coward like.

Ok, we have 4 points for 18! What is the point in seeing what happens? Even if he wins the next two he will more than likely lose the away match.

Also the massive issue is fans don't bloody like him? They is no connection with the fans! He's nothing to us.

The club are just going to lose season ticket sales with him there and we are wasting our time

Whilst I admire your candidacy Park, PP ddnt lose twice in those 20 games or so by at least 3 goals & especially so timidly.
Bowyer has done that within one week.
Personally believe tht Bowyer's tenure is untenable

You see, I like this post. It would be brave of our incumbents to suppress the tide of the fans and keep faith in Bowyer. However, it could turn ( emphasis on could) and promotion could still be achieved. New personal may change things, its a possibility. If, taking on the absolute positives, Bowyer turned it around.....be some statement.

It's not over this season based on our position.

As you know, I gave up on Bowyer last week but you raise a valid debating point. But I'm still of the belief, GB has to go.

Don’t take my view as condoning recent displays I don’t. Football is a confidence thing in a lot of ways the slip that started the rot today killed any chance we had. But the fact remains for a big part of the season we were defending well and getting results.
If we change managers now we will be probably be a further three matches further on before a new man is in who will have to assess the players he won’t be able to change anything as regards playing staff. It will take him time to change how he wants them to play. Yes we have slipped out of the top seven for the first time but we still have a good chance of the play offs. If the new signings fail and we continue to drop then the inevitable will happen anyway but now is the time to get behind what we have got and end the hysteria

Given Bowyers approach how do you see these players improving the outcomes we have seen over recent weeks? The central midfield has been appalling in terms of protecting the defence and supporting the attacking/offensive play. Which of the new recruits will help here - Middleton?

Bowyer has no credit in the bank. Parky had and rightly got the opportunity. Time to go. BowyerS out.

Why has Pritchard not featured at all in the last two games? He was the one player who had the balls to publicly apologise for the performance against Mansfield, acknowledge it wasn't good enough and state that the whole team need to do better, but yet it feels like Bower's punishing him for his honesty.

The Port Vale manager has suggested that City splashed the cash to land Guthrie, a player that he was interested in. That being the case I can’t see us sacking Bowyer before he’s had chance to show improvement with his new players. I think he will hang in there.

That would be yet another massive mistake on behalf of the board.
