I don’t think we’re on the verge of a sacking. We’ve not had the vote of confidence yet. It’s almost as though JR is distancing himself from what’s going on. There’s been nothing but silence from him when really his job is to reassure supporters. I can see us being on more or less in the same position next Sunday morning. In fact if we beat Grimsby the position becomes even more unclear.

Radio Leeds still seem to infer that it is still the minority wanting him out, I do get that the out side are probably more vocal here and on other social media. I must admit I’ve never joined a board like this previously, I have done so due to my ongoing frustrations which says allot particularly after last season when strangely I never felt this strongly.

It is great to see the Width of the post article, I’ve always felt like these were happy clappers preaching solidarity etc.. for Jason McKeown to write such a scathing report speaks volumes.

 

I don’t think people on here are simply the vocal minority. We seem to have a range of ages and opinions. Radio Leeds’ reporters rely for their living on getting access to the club and interviews etc. They would tend to be more cautious and inclined to sit on the fence than those motivated only by a sincere passion for their club. Tell you what, our collective experience is enormous and considerably outweighs that of most local journalists who are not even Bradford lads.

 

Exactly, there are some very smart ppl on here; in depth knowledge of how to run a business, tactical nouse, ability to spot good players, knowledge of training techniques, how to set up training and development etc., all city fans

Reporters have to be careful what they say. We don’t. Years ago when the greatest of all local sports journalists legendary Dick Williamson retired the T and A appointed a young up and coming reporter, Stanley Pearson, to report on the Avenue. He told it as it was in Avenue’s dark days and was banned from the team coach and eventually the press box. The T snd A moved him to the Golf desk. These days journalists are pretty bland.

That's how I see it too, I think the chances of him being sacked are slim. Not least because I don't see many (if any) managers capable of doing significantly better with this group. Another manager is only going to fail too and then has that failure baggage for the fans to beat him with.

 

I'm sure Park will be along shortly to reassure us all that it's just a blip.
