there was someone last week claiming all his ‘real life’ acquaintances were supportive of Bowyer

 

He sounded awful. Like he’d tore into the players but knew he was a dead man walking. Hope its up soon. He was in disbelief

 

I dont quite get that. Because he was a good player, he's automatically immune to being called out as manager? Not in his previous two spells as boss has that been the case.

In his first spell he caved under pressure and walked before the board had a difficult decision to make. The fans never called for him to resign or be sacked.
In the second spell he was unexpected sacked but again, I didn’t hear many fans calling for his head. Yes there were some but nothing like the hate towards Bowyer right now.

 

What's worrying is that he said we need to focus on our defending. Scoring might help as well Gary FFS

 

I didn’t hear or see anyone at the game supporting Bowyer.

Hundreds of people were chanting against him. At half-time, conversations were about him having to go.

Without doubt, a significant proportion of our fan base, not just those on here, have lost faith with Gary Bowyer. I do feel for him, it isn’t good to someone who has lost control of their job, but he has.

Maybe Novak and the new lad from Rangers will change things. However, I can’t see it. The way we are playing will likely leave both isolated.

 

I've not heard his post match interview but how did he get round this God awful performance.

 

Very poor again today but they all were, maybe O'Donnell was the pick of this bunch.

 

O donnell saved it from being 5 or 6 Imo. If such an accolade could be presented, man of the match

 

Yeh, it never reached current Bowyer levels, thankfully, but I believe he came back more capable the second time and was undeservedly dropped.

I remember plenty of criticism of him first time round, sentiment went out the window when we weren't challenging that season. Maybe its forgotten because parky came in?

 

He referred to Tuesdays battling performance. He seemed rattled overall, which is to be expected.

I poo pooed it when I heard it suggested the other day but in all honesty he would certainly be the man who could put some pride back in the club, I accept he's had two goes without success but he knows the club inside out, BUT would he work under Rupp, not forgetting he was as bad as Rahic with regards want him out after Wembley.
It would take a big man to forgive the treatment he had to endure under Rahic but they don't come any bigger than McCall, not saying give him a permanent position that would be offered or not come the end of the season, nothing to lose because IMO Mr Bowyer is taking this club nowhere.

Well Bowyer certainly ain't working, It's either giving it to the likes of McCall or getting another manager in who would want the security of a contract be that a rolling one year or a fixed 2 year deal, I get where your coming from but I do believe he could steady this rudderless ship, and if not we've lost nothing.
