My first comment was an attempt at humour.I listen intently to every McCall interview.

 

He needs to say that then.. 1st mistake.

Nothing wrong with saying" Before Rhodes left he made the decision to extend McCall's contract and I will work with that because McCall will turn things around blah blah blah"

As for Rupp. Seriously what does he do?

 

Im not sure we have an alternative.
I dont think McCall would want one, in all his management career he's never had one previously. I believe
he's in panic mode, throw anything at it hoping something may pay off.
Whomever thought up these contract extentions last week - FFS they haven't half backed us in a corner now

 

Who ever it was needs to change it.

I'll have more respect for Ryan if he sacked McCall.
I'll have respect for McCall as a player but I will respect him more as a manager if he resigned.

He mentions it again around 14:50 in with regards 3rd party recruitment/scouting so it's got to be a positive, we need all the help we can get at the moment.

 

And to be honest the bit about the help coming was the only bit that I liked.

 

It's certainly not the best decision the club have made, and fans have every right to question that decision, for the life in me I can't come up with a single reason an offer like that would be needed in the present circumstances.
He worked under worse during his second spell here Edin, Abbo and himself making the call, although I believe most recognise a certain MR I know football actually made the calls.
He's certainly under pressure that goes without saying and as some have previously commented what would the reaction be if fans were in attendance at games.

 

He may have worked under worse circumstances ie Rahic, but at that time we were in the division above.
Currently as it stands, we depart league football in the position we are in.
McCall with Campbell are my Bradford City hero's. My formatve years we're their's in Mid/late eighties.
Honestly I have very little confidence McCall can get us out of this and if im wrong I I certainly hope I am. He's not the manager to take us forward thereafter

 

I fully believe we won't go down but I don't think McCall is the man to take the club forward either.

 

No chance the contract extension was anyone but Sparks' move.

Who in the world is taking on a CEO position when you're already looking under-qualified, and the first MASSIVE decision in your name is going to be taken by either the man above you who isn't interested or the man on his way out.

One that is very inexperienced and is told by the out-going CEO ' The jobs your's but the manager is signing a years extention'.
He's not got the balls to say no. He's just finished his YTS .
A stich up between Jnr & Sparks and just sums up the piss poor management of Bradford City in recent history.
