T&S have done a superb job of solidifying the defence and making us a tougher unit to break down. I don't think there's any question about their capabilities in this regard. On the other hand though, we've still been fairly impotent going forwards. Granted, for the most part they still had McCall's dreadful set of attackers to work with, but even in the last few games, we've sat on leads rather than try and extend them. Now they have brought in real quality, pace and width into the attacking areas, their next task is to improve our chance creation and goalscoring. If they can do that over the next few weeks, I'll be more than happy to see them get the job permanently.

Lawn and Rhodes shocking?..the same pair that introduced affordable season tickets seeing fans, and in particular families flocking back to watch us. They were in charge during one of the most memorable periods watching City, including promotion and cup runs that will live forever in our memories.

They weren't perfect by any means, which football club owners are?, but to label them as being shocking is incredibly harsh and to be fair, nonsense.

I welcome the backing Rupp has provided lately, however, he has also being in charge and responsible for overseeing the rapid decline and damaged all the good work achieved under Lawn and Rhodes, so agree he has been a poor owner for us so far. I am happy to see him stick around and give him more time to turn it around though

Top 6? They need to have us well within the top 3, preferably first.

There’s a difference. Cook has scored more already since January and doesn’t get injured every two minutes. No chance Novak would improve our starting 11, we play 1 up top so he’d be on the bench. Callum Cooke has been a big loss though, but our midfield was left woefully short due to poor recruitment and that includes January.

A note on Mcanthony seen as he seems to come up a bit but looks like his Peterborough side are gonna be back in the championship again.
Wasnt the arguments against him that he takes the club no where? Well they are building a new stadium complex, in the championship with a very good attacking side
Would have him here in a heartbeat

Liverpool were bought for £300m GBP and are worth $4.1bn USD, so just under £3bn GBP. FSG brought in Kenny Dalglish on a temporary basis when they sacked Hodgson, gave him a three year deal a few months later and then sacked him a year later. Nothing to do with identity. They looked at who was doing well at the time, Rodgers at Swansea, and then sacked him for not winning a trophy. Klopp was doing well at Dortmund so they went for him. Nothing to do with identity, simply hiring and firing. Just like Spurs and every other football club.

You can’t compare Liverpool with a league two club. Different game, Liverpool are close to the market capitalisation of Morrisons, City are more like one of their larger stores. Identity on the field and brand of football is the sort of bollocks someone on the Apprentice comes up with.

Now he's a bit more confident in the role Andy K is actually pretty knowledgable, and has provided some really good insights alongside some excellent word salad, which I just find endearing more than anything these days. His point about the warm up was bang on too

Heard him say in December it was the fear of losing, where we might end up.

I hope he understands that fans will expect us to be winning more often than not and to go up automatically. He has to make a change in the summer if he feel T& S can't take us up.

T & S currently are not showing signs they can take this club forward. Decisions have to be made.

Told you all that T & S jumping up and down over a point at home to Bolton was when it all changed.

Bradford City need to be DISAPPOINTED with DRAWS!! Managers shouldn't be jumping up and down like we won. Fans it's different in that situation.

It just spelt out to me that T & S were not really out for winning but playing not to lose and that is dangerous. We use 4-2-3-1 in a negative way and yesterday not going 2 up top with 30 mins to go or so highlights this also. Its boring under them now.

Sparks needs a serious think about the future of this club.

Ryan attended the Supporters' Trust AGM this evening, for a Q&A session.

He was clear that he does not see the need for a Director of Football, but he was equally clear that there are certain functions which have just not been anywhere good enough. In particular, he singled out lack of fitness and conditioning and it is in this area that we can expect some big changes in the summer. It also seems we are just about the only League Two club that does not do GPS tracking of its players and the detailed information that this provides.

He also mentioned the high rental that the Club pays for both Valley Parade and the training ground, which amounts to around a third of our ticket income.

He also covered player budgets and gave some very interesting comparison figures ranging from Morecambe's £1.1m through to some £5m + budgets at clubs like Salford. Our player spend this season is in the region of £2.3m, but this will ease considerably with the departure of some high earners at the end of this season.

Regarding departures, it looks like 12 players are on the way out and we are currently tracking around 50 players as potential recruits.

Pre-season will see the Club head north, although an expected match is likely to be a behind closed doors affair.

Pleased they are going to do something about the fitness conditioning this has been an issue now since allamby and is overdue. And if we want to play a pressing game a peak of fitness is required

Do we know he was a trouble maker, is it deemed causing trouble if he's telling T&S he wants regular football, and obviously feels he could do a job if picked lets be fair we've looked toothless recently.
The telling factor for me is that he puts him on the bench (even though he's a trouble causer) we are losing a game that we need all 3 points from if we are to give ourselves any chance of a top 7 finish but they stubbornly stick with the same attacking player until they bring Donaldson on in the 91st minute, if I was in Rowe's shoes I'd be in T&S ear.

Guys, Rowe was a signing that was a bit of a gamble (all his career basically in a lower league positions than even we have been) but was made with good intent. It hasnt worked out as hoped so lets wish Danny good luck for the future and get on with the future. Thats life! Do you seriously think RS doesnt know we have to replace him with a better signing in this position? He was never a world beater so I dont understand some of the drama on here in relation to DR, right now we have bigger fish to fry - why we have bodged up a shot at the play offs, T&S showing they are up to it going forward, getting the retained list and prospect list right for next season, and all the commercial aspects necessary to drive the club forward
Weather is lovely, enjoy the weekend

Never mind season tickets, I'm more worried about how we attract the sort of players we are going to need to get us out of this league. Who in their right mind is going to want to come?

T&S saved us from the National League. Kudos. But it's always horses for courses. Do I feel they can get us into the automatics next season? Sadly, not. They've done great work with the kids. Send them back there to do good works in player development. New management team needed now. And I'm guessing - and hoping -that Sparks knows this.

Exactly, Rhodes said nothing and got constant criticism for it. You can't please all the people all the time, but I expect there are more fans happy that our present CEO is quite vocal than are unhappy about it.

Ryan said we were heading for the National League but gave Stuart a contract extension anyway. He sacked him two weeks later. It doesn't make sense.

It's a good thing we're trying to keep T&S within the club. Before their work with the first team, and lest we not forget, keeping us up, they have done great things with the young players - hence, Finn Cousin Dawson, Jorge Sikora, Kian Scales et al all being good enough to feature in the first team squad and continue to develop. A lot more down the line, looking promising, for the first time in generations. In terms of the next appointment, it's looking like Adams, who I think is a really shrewd appointment. What he's achieved at Ross County, Plymouth and Morecambe on scant resources is impressive.
