    Read @Polo-Bantam@Polo-Bantam great post above.

Look, some will sit and watch the club fail. Die of football death and not question it. Others with a bit more fight and determination will question. It doesn’t mean any side are better fans but for me I don’t lie to myself and I can’t accept failure.

Rhodes, Sparks, Rupp all the board have failed this club and all are accountable at this moment.

Being vitriol or passive, entitles you to support your club.

I don't think their is a right or wrong way, to being a supporter.

    Also saw this.

Adams has stressed that he works well under club owner Stefan Rupp and chief executive Ryan Sparks.

He said: “The difficulty with being a manager is that you can’t say what you want to all the time and be clear on that.

“But one thing I can make clear is that the owner and CEO have been very supportive to me since I came to the football club.

“The CEO has given me very good backing from the point of view of taking me into the club and now allowing me to get on and try to move forward in the way that I want to.

“I can only be thankful for that.”

    Strikes me that it is:
    • Pleased with the start of the season up to Mansfield
    • Unhappy with the next five league games (don’t forget the cup games)
    • We could/should be doing better
    • The season is over 46 games
    • Come 4.55 on Saturday we will start to turn the corner
    • Things are not problematic within the club
Where we are at the beginning of November will be the acid test.

Its just people seeing what they want to see. But i think if a manager said or thought those things they would just walk. Why would you stick around in such a toxic atmosphere otherwise? Only person who i can think of who did was Stuart! And that was only because he loves the club.
Cannot imagine Derek being like that at all.

The issue many have is your never satisfied. I agree we’ve some of your points about direction and leadership from the owner, but even when we were top end league one you were picking holes in everything the club did. What are your realistic ambitions for this club? I’d be happy to stabilise as regular championship side but that’s getting further and further away. I just can’t see an owner on the horizon with the sort of interest, never mind funds to want to achieve that with Bradford City. In Rupp we probably have a man who’s looking to stick around with the minimum investment to get us back into league one, then recoup his investment and drive off into the sunset.

Remember, there wasn’t a queue of wealthy businessmen wanting to take us on when we were in the top 6 of league one. It’ll be even harder to attract one now if that is your aim.

Oh I am satisfied when we are successful or doing well. Years of failure and none investment into to the club isn’t going to make me happy.

As for the investment. Do you know how investment works? No one really is going to invest in something that that has no assets or nothing to build upon. WE TRAIN AT A SH@TE SCHOOL FOR CRYING OUT LOUD! We own nothing and for the investment to truly work we need to own something. So the problem we have now is the club trying to make money but when you try to make football about finances it never works and you suffer on the pitch. Rupp isn’t an idiot and knows this but all this his not interested in football excuse is lame. He’s interested in money but maybe just given up on a bad investment. Might explain why he doesn’t attend games and why he seems to make poor decisions.

Investors are are out there but Bradford City won’t be that attractive Rhodes told this club back 10-20 years and now Rupp is taking back another 20-30 years.

Unfortunately there aren't any serious 'investors' Fordy. If Rupp gave up the club for a give away price there would be one or two that would gladly take it. But there wouldn't be any investment, bar Richmond there hasn't been any since I started watching 40 odd years ago. That's not to say we couldnt get people in the club who could run it better than it currently is but you won't be seeing anything like training academies or new facilities being built at Bradford, there's no justification for it.

    Exactly.
    Speculate to accumulate.
He has money and land is cheap around the Bradford district.
Chuck 5 million into a training centre gives him an investment that will make money whilst also making the club a more attractive proposition if he wants to sell.
    Whilst also attracting better players.
No brainer if you are a business man who knows what he's doing.

I think you need to build outside the Bradford area for that and suddenly your 5 million gets very little.

Out of interest, what will this 5 million pound training centre have that makes it better than the facilities we currently have use of at Woodhouse Grove?
I think it's a bit naive to think 5 million will get us some kind of state of the art facility that will make us a more attractive proposition to potential investors.

    A return on his investment.
What does years of training at a school give to the club regards financial returns??
