I still think the old Richard Dunne centre is the ideal location. Easy for the motorway (for those players living outside the district), lots of land, existing road/car park. Combine it with the University, perhaps other sporting clubs hiring part of it and use for youth sporting development in the community. So the Council could let City have the land on a 999 year lease, at £1 a year rent. Job is a good one!

What would make us a more enticing proposition would be top near the of league one as we were when he bought the club.1975citygent, bailiff bridge bantam and Petrov like this. -

AMHP services are the legal responsibility of the local authority, which does not control the keys to NHS hospital beds. There were endless boundary disputes about which LA was responsible for doing MHA Assessments, which hospitals they should go to etc. Eg, the designated MH hospital for Burnley and Colne is Airedale - which is in Bradford Met - but the legal responsibility for doing the assessments is with East Lancs Social Services.
When it gets really complicated is where someone is registered to a GP practice that is in a different area. Say a person lives in Thornbury but their GP is in Pudsey. The NHS protocols would say they should go to a Leeds hospital, but the MHA says it's the legal responsibility of the Bradford AMHP team to do the assessment, based on their home address. Often the AMHP would then be stuck in the middle of a dispute between Leeds and Bradford NHS about which hospital should take the patient - Leeds or Bradford. Same sorts of disputes occur regarding residential care.
It would be so much simpler if the NHS and LA boundaries were co-terminus.Allotment Bantam, vladimir and Dubois like this. -

I don't think their is a right or wrong way, to being a supporter.Manningham bantam and Rogered Tart like this. -
Strikes me that it is:
- Pleased with the start of the season up to Mansfield
- Unhappy with the next five league games (don’t forget the cup games)
- We could/should be doing better
- The season is over 46 games
- Come 4.55 on Saturday we will start to turn the corner
- Things are not problematic within the club
-
It makes me wonder why somebody hasn't done that already.Rogered Tart and Bronco like this. -

Pictures of all the kids sports teams, Achievement boards, the school emblem everywhere, the kids doing outdoor sports when your walking to the training pitches, everyone wearing I'm a grovian t-shirts or employees of the school wearing the schools emblem on their workwear. Even the schools moto and principles are written everywhere.
As for our main training pitches, when the team aren't on them, people walk their dogs, let them piss and shit all over the surface, large groups play football on the pitch we use nearest the Stansfield pub, even though its clearly marked BCAFC training pitch.
Back to the school though, Its a fantastic place to learn and be part of an education many of us can only dream of but i'm telling you now, it doesn't feel like Bradford City AFC's training base.Botswana Bantam and Fordy117 like this. -
