Do think he is on the out anyway with no contract being sorted. pretty sure in Jan he can sign a pre-contract elsewhere

 

Think the basics at this level is a keeper that commands his area ...........he sadly doesn’t and it looks like the centre backs are always trying to 2nd guess what he’s gonna do ...........

 

I’d imagine ROD will probably end up at conference team next year willing to take a chance on him as number due to his ‘pedigree’

 

Have a look at this 1:50 minutes in looks like his defence is having a right go.

 

Saw that, ROD not on Canavan's xmas card list.......

 

that’s what I mean it’s every game now you have something like this ........ any ball at head height hitting that six yard box he should be coming to claim ....... sometimes he does some times he doesn’t which must be a nightmare for our centre backs

 

I've backed ROD to be no1 but time to give Hornby a go. His, ROD, appearances are too much miss at the moment than hit.

 

Never mind getting blasted for the near miss, what the hell is his positioning for their goal.
he is 3ft out of position. No wonder he couldn't attempt a save into the bottom left corner.
This is what does my head in about Adams.
Surely they watch it all back, speak to the players and highlight where they are going wrong.
He would be dropped for next week if it was me, its the only way to increase competition.

Just what I thought at the time Dave, "Come and get the bloody thing"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
His static stance could, and should have, cost us there.
He lets in too many 25yd 'wordly's' too, Tranmere being an example. Clear view of the ball yet allows it to go in past his late diving, left hand.
How many has he let in like this, this season alone?
Hope Hornby is given his chance, starting tonight.

 

Well if Hornby offers no competition Adams needs to bring someone in who will, a loan keeper in January ?.

 

Guess no one watches the highlights since lots of goals at this level and in League One involve a level of error

 

Keepers at these levels will always make errors but we are talking the basics here and if he cannot command his OWN space by either catching the ball or punching it away then we are always gonna find ourselves up against ............... honestly if I was an oppo manager I would just aim balls into the areas that he should be dealing with because all it does is cause mass confusion in our area
Let’s be right the saves he does pull off he makes them look like they are wonder saves most of the time they are basic saves without the dramatics
You only have to look at his antics when we either score a goal or concede that he seems to crave the attention

 

I'm just saying I've seen worse than just the basics every week the standard of goalkeeping is really low

I’m honestly struggling to name a worse keeper in a City shirt I remember that Zabica in the lates 90s but he was soon binned off but after that or before I’m struggling

 

David, Billy Big boots, Harvey was nearly as bad.

 

Nowhere near that bad hence we don't get panned we just concede 1 goal every single week guaranteed

Bad keepers concede more than that he's just average or maybe slightly below average but no worse than that think he's just ground people down and beaten them into submission by never keeping a clean sheet lol

 

I don't usually contradict people who know what they're talking about, but for me that's dropping 14 yards out and you would expect Paudie to win it. No way is a keeper coming 15 yards off his goal line for that.

 

I wouldn’t be expecting him to come out for that ball but he should have been central to the goals. Looking at the still he looks as if he’s too far to the right hand post.
