It will be just like the fans forum, dodging the proper questions and saying it's the fans that need to be uber positive. He will hold his hands up say the Collins debacle was a mistake, there is no other way he can dress it up. As far as everything else he will make any other bullshit up as his ego won't allow him to admit he is useless and has no idea what he is doing.

 

Seems like a pointless exercise, whatever he says will mean nothing to most, those that it does will say give him another chance even though there have been several interviews like this before.

The old adage actions speak louder than words comes to mind.

 

On the Pulse with Jason Thornton last season, just after the January window, if I remember correctly he was making excuses about the transfer window.

 

He's full of it.

As chairman just provide the money don't make excuses and let the manager/coach do his/her job. Simple really.

Fans say they want to hear from the chairman.

Chairman plans to go on radio show.

Fans complain that he’s doing an interview, saying it’s pointless.

One word: Weirdos.

 

Can we give the bloke a chance, at least ?

I've barely met him (A few quick hello's) , let alone know him. And yet I'm prepared to let him have his say.
I'm not blinkered anymore than the rest of you, but things in life can, and do change. Let's hear what he has to say, before we all start our own script writing, OK ?
He may well be full of the same Bull schitt and self preservation, but until we hear it - we'll not know, for sure. OK ?
Jeeeeze, even a condemned Man has an opportunity, and right to speak some final words.

 

Rahic will basically come out with the same old b0llocks statements we’ve heard before and perhaps tinker slightly.

I’d be willing to bet we hear something along the lines of:

“We are still 100% committed to develop younger players”

“Hopkin has a proven track record of success with a team made up of a large number of youth talent”

“We are fully committed to take this club forward and be a success”

“We have shown we are willing to spend to make the squad competitive”


And, as usual, we will come away from listening to him feeling rather indifferent and none the better.

Couldn’t really care much for what the loan player has to say.

What will be interesting is listening to Hopkin, hopefully he can restore some faith in us.

Edin knows he’s made the wrong decision in appointing Collins. Of this there is no doubt.
He has acted swiftly to replace him with a guy who should have been given the Job in the first place - for this he needs praise.

Some of the signings the Club has made are exceptional (see transfer rumour thread where everyone was excited) - Loans or otherwise.

Hopefully he has learnt (or been told by Ruup) to leave the football side of things to the Manager/Head Coach.

I am more optimistic now that I was with Collins in charge, he was way out of his depth that was easy to see.
