Nigel could argue in an empty room, if he was a mister man he would be mister angry.

 

So if he holds a ticket how is he depriving them of money

 

Nige was spot on really. I give the chairmen the benefit of the doubt over most issues, but the politician response to the elephant in the room was irritating. Rahic seemed irked at every mention of Collins. Rahic accepted it was he and Rupp's responsibility to change the manager after the bad start. But the way Rahic worded it was more "We accept Collins' performance was not good enough, we have to change it" rather than "Maybe we were a bit naive in handing a novice coach a three-year contract"

 

Can I just ask the pro Edin guys one simply question - some of you even started to admit what a mess we were in after last Saturday, are you now happy again just because ER has got rid of MC. Do you still not see this is just getting rid of the faulty puppet but not the puppet master? The man blundered and bumbled his way through his interviews today but he still cant see (or rather admit) so many of our problems have been down to him. At least one thing we all seem to be reasonably pleased with is how DH has handled his first couple of days

 

So you know him personally or is it just your opinion ?.

Yes the presenter said he'd watch City for 25 years, but your right he's not depriving the club of money so that makes it OK, many have not renewed does that fact not worry you mate.

Just to clarify, Edin was not in the studio and the presenter did not claim that he was there. For those who haven't heard the program yet it contained with a prerecorded interviews with Hopkin, Rahic (with the Rahic interview being the audio from the press conference that was broadcast earlier this afternoon) and David Ball. In addition there were phone interviews with a journo who knows Hopkin from covering Livi games and an ex City fan plus a few e-mails / tweets that were read out.

 

Hopkin was spot on when asked about working with Edin. He said win three or four games and everything will be fine.
He has made a big mistake with Colin’s the person he should apologise to is him.
He has put that right

 

I'm 99.9% certain he said or insinuated that Rahic was in the studio and that we would "hear from him". He stated several times that we would "hear from him" firstly in the 'second half of the show', and then 'in a few moments'. That's basically misleading the viewer, he should have stated it would be a pre-recorded interview that we would hear - they definitely at least made out it was going to be an exclusive interview.

 

Can be if you want me to be! Sounds like a number of people are only 'making plans for Nigel'!!

I somewhat agree with Hopkins in that winning three or four games would go some way to ease tensions in the short term but it would definitely not make everything fine. If we don't reach the playoffs fingers will point back to the beginning of the season and the Collins saga.
