You're quite right of course up to a point, but I'd suggest they do need to keep us fans onside ?, if not why the statment from Stefan about mistakes and learning they would carry on regardless of fans opinions.

in other words, hes terrified of spending money!

SUCCESS to HIM means making money from selling young players on, ans he will use the excuse of, ‘oh but we are making sure the club doesnt go bust’ as an excuse for having a team who has league 1 mid table mediocrity stamped all over it for the next 10 years’

You might be happy with that but i certainly am not and i know loads of others who are not either!

Rahic and Rupp are clever, they chose bradford because its a club that nearly went bust because a past chairman spent too much, they can always use that as an excuse for not spending!

We dont want their version of success which is using the club we love to make them profit, yet the club does nothing for 10 years or more.. win draw lose win draw lose win draw lose, stays at 14th every year knocked out of fa cup 4th round every year while they keep making money selling on players.. hell no! No thanks.

We get crowds and are seen as a 'big club' - I actually don't think we are, but I'm happy for Sky etc to hype us as it means that coach with a point to prove, would be itching to take on the challenge. Vital, that we get the right one and they buy in to the excellent 'youth' policy. Otherwise, we're wasting our time

The owners have actually restored some of my confidence in them, but sticking to thier principles about how they see the club should be run. Clearly (and who can blame him) Grayson doesn't want to bother with a nuturing plan - he wants money and lots of it, which is why it's unlikely he'll get a job in this division. Sunderland, won't have him back. Barnsley's policy is more dogmatic than ours - not only do they insist on head coach but use that 'stats' method for scouting players and the manager has virtually no say. Might change eventually with the new owners but no sign of that so far.

Talk about a negative spin. Chesterfield pulled the plug, the player didn't reject us and if you read their boards had a three month sulk about it afterwards (which makes you question his character, so maybe it was a lucky escape)

Put still a similar crowd to around three seasons ago and far more than virtually every other club. Still attractive for a coach and a player with the right attitude. Quite confident we'll be in the Top 5 choices to come here in L1. If they ask for daft wages, i.e. McArdle then they can go. McGowan to me seems at least as good -so there are others. Brunker thinks all his his Xmas's have come at once - so why our own fans think we're so terrible is a source of amusement to me. We're much admired in the lower leagues and why wouldn't we be after the last six years

Then we get someone else with that money. Eventually, we improved when Wells left. I agree we've never replaced Beagrie, Blake, Dreyer, Darren Moore or Jamie Lawrence but we can't have everything It will be a PR disaster if the owners don't use most of any transfer money, which I think they are anxious to avoid

No. Success to any sensible fan is promotion, with an infrastructure and players to ensure we survive

It isn't promotion using the MK Dons or Yeovil model

I'm not bothered about promotion in the simply airily hope we'll be alright - 'lets give it a go and hope for the best'

I still want promotion and was pissed off for a month after out play-off final defeat - but I don't want us to buy promotion with a load of players past their peak on higher wages, who are then useless for The Championship
