Specially with Sunderland with a new owner, and other clubs say Rotherham stay down and don’t win the play offs, they’ll ‘storm ze league’ next season

If we don’t make play offs next season then .... who knows

You're way off the mark. According to their accounts, Hudds spent around £22m on their wages when they were promoted ....

Not sure how accurate it is, but one of the commentators on the Rotherham v Scunthorpe game said the average Championship budget is £35 mill.

Would be good to compare the record of our new "head-coach"
With Stuart's at the end of his first season
My money is fully on Stuart
    Unless we get promotion

Who knows, we just have to stay patient. Things don’t always happen overnight.

    They need to keep going

Thing is, if we develop players then sell them on we’re not progressing. I’d say wyke scores 40 goals before January... (obviously hypertheticcly) we sell him for £5mil to arsenal. Then... we loose our best player and we’re back to square 1. Without the player and Edin and Stefan go to Barbados for a few weeks with there family..

What I’m saying is.. it’s ok to develop players and sell them on aslong as we get to the championship first and become stable there first

I was quoting from 2015/16 and the average is usually higher than the 'typical mid table budget' because it is skewed towards the ex-PL teamsd who are still receiving parachute payments and haven't fully cut their cloth.

I've just posted the latest complete figures for 2016/17 above and the wages do appear to have increased significantly from the previous season - possibly due to the new Sky and EFL TV deals. It looks as though the quoted £35 mill is on the top side.

I thought the same thing but... paying game by game makes them more money in the long run..which I don’t mind. I’d pay £300-400 for a season ticket I don’t care, it’s for bcfc the club I love , i haven’t bought a season ticket yet because I’m bitterly disappointed about Stuart McCall being sacked when... (there was clearly something else going on) Rahic is obviously a control freak. Mccall has said in the matter of heart film he didn’t like not being able to sign his own players and looks like he didn’t like working with Rahic and the players didn’t like it under him either. Who knows

But yeah, whatever... who knows we could still win the league next year

This is the over dramatic reaction I was referring to. Money isn’t everything. Burton proved it when they got promoted and when they stayed up. Huddersfield showed it when they got promoted and stayed up. The likes of Huddersfield and Sheffield Utd showed it when they took multiple attempts to get out of League 1.

Your comment is also totally illogical, if they want to make money then they will absolutely want to get promoted. The money is in the top 2 divisions. They are just approaching it in a different way more sustainable way. Whether this works remains to be seen.

What are they trying to 'sustain'? Cheap football? League one status? Just a club to support? What is this 'sustainable football' that i keep hearing about?

The paragraph or sp that people are overlooking

“We cannot be Bradford City, a club of this size and with this fanbase, and not have a competitive first-team.

“We know that this isn’t just about developing young players, if that was purely our intention then we would have bought another club where we could just focus on developing youngsters.

“It’s a challenge for sure, to have a competitive team but also to give players with potential a chance.”

Can I ask at what point do people who support what the owners are doing turn against them? Would it be relegation to league 2 ? Would it be another admin due to falling crowds and little or no sales of these amazing youth players we're signing? Would it be relegation to the conference?

Not having a go at anyone in particular but genuinely interested in other people' s threshold for failure. Myself I prefer prevention to having to find a cure.
