I think if you want a question answering then you need to work on your delivery. We have a forum coming up where you can ask. Try and help yourself for once instead of being so abrasive.

Do you think wittering on here is going to make any difference? Put up or shut up. You have the opportunity to ask a question. Just try and word it less aggressively, it’s not difficult.

The one I can't fathom is if Ryan knew the manager he wanted and went about getting him in the correct manner asking permission from Morecambe we're told was as early as last December, so if he knew in his opinion Adams is the man (which I agree) why did he extend Trueman & Sellars contracts, was that a leaving present.

I assume you are joking,we got this sort of crowd under Parkinson in the early rounds of the cup. You’ve lost all credibility mentioning bringing McCall back. In fact anyone even dreaming of bringing McCall back should wake up and apologise.

All irrelevant as we have a capable manager in place already who is going nowhere

In all seriousness I can't think of a job Stuart would be less suited to at a club, and I include first team manager in that.

What experience does he have of putting structures in place at a club? I'm not sure there is any evidence from his managerial career to suggest he is pro-youth, his only decent City team was full of experienced pros, I certainly don't recall him bringing players through and embedding them in the squad and he never really demonstrated any ability to spot talent or have a dedicated way of playing.

His contact list seems non existent, consisting of old drinking buddies at Rangers or players he's had at previous clubs.

His personality just doesn't fit with that senior, strategic role - club ambassador is the only role he should ever be considered for at VP again.

Can't agree with this, feels like you've gone off on a bit of a tangent and are now trying to back your stance.

There's no reason that a sustainable budget can't bring us success in League One, let alone League Two.

Parkinson knew: you don't need to spend money at this level to go up, and that rings true today.

The issue of ownership or lease is mute - Unless you plan to sell the ground, which is pointless in our case given its value is pretty much nil after dilapidations and dismantling costs.

The real issue is the cost of playing at a football ground. If you own a ground and training ground, you have no rent to pay. That would save City well over £500k per season which is ever increasing.

Clubs like West Ham pay around £2m a year to lease, but against the cost of the build and the revenue they make on matchday, it's an incredible deal.

If our leases to rent the ground/training ground were £200k or less, that would be perfect. The fact we rent is an issue because it eats up around 30% of our season ticket money and we don't have an owner willing to fund annual losses.

    So the options are;
    1) We renegotiate the lease to more favourable terms. The Flamingo Land trustees will not agree to that unless they have no option. Currently, they hold all the cards
    2) The council funds a new Bradford Ground with cheap government loans at 2% interest rates and then wraps that in a lease to us/Bulls on similar terms. But if it cost £25m, 2% interest is £500k! We're back to square one, albeit in a better stadium. So I can't see that getting off the ground
    3) We take the option to buy Odsal for £500k of the Rugby RFL which is a liability to them. We now have a poker hand. We offer Flamingo Trustees a bit more for Valley Parade. They have a choice - Say £1m, or the same thing that the RFL has with the Bulls. A ground that has a rates liability to pay every year and nobody to occupy it. Alternatively, we could agree to reduced rental terms of say £100k, or even a lease purchase. We pay £150k for 10 years and the ground is ours. There are plenty of ways to do a deal but only if we have a viable alternative to doing nothing.

As it stands, we are sleepwalking into a new 25 year upwards only renewal which will kill the club by a thousand cuts. We need a poker player to lead on this and take ownership back of the ground or move to Odsal.

Could I ask you one question. Not who you don’t like and want sacking as that would take all day, but who you do like at the club as I imagine that will take half a millisecond. What one earth has Ryan Sparks done wrong he’s everything Rhodes wasn’t.

Won't have time, they'll be too busy clapping for climate change, praying for the dinghy invaders and singing the praises of the M25 eco-loons.....then we might get a game of football..!!

I’m no expert but I imagine there would need to be a suitable buyer to remove Rupp from the club and I doubt they’re queuing up for that. Look how long it took Lawn and Rhodes to sell.

We should be careful what we wish for. There are far worse owners that Rupp.

The deals have to be worth profit for the club otherwise why bother?

You have this amusing insane fixation about the club not progressing off the pitch but then comment on the improved off the pitch activity (with the usual negativity).

It’s not great but it’s a fact of life. There are a lot of football clubs out there and it doesn’t seem like there are enough “good” owners to go around (certainly not at our level). So an owner that keeps us solvent and, moving forward I’m hoping he keeps us competitive, is about as good as we can get.

What is the alternative? Hound him out and pray another owner turns up who is better?

The fans aren't taking to Adams because there was only 3,200 there, I don't know how you come to that conclusion, the first round of the FA Cup is renowned for poor attendances.

As I’ve stated before sacking McCall was correcting Rhodes mistake in giving him an extended contract. You only have to hear Sparks comments about McCall to realise it wasn’t him that wanted McCall to stay. He gave Trueman and Sellars a chance and they exceeded expectations but after the slump the message board here was in meltdown wanting them out. Maybe you would have stuck with them if so your entitled to your opinion. You’ve contradicted yourself in the sacking of Turnbull, criticising the sacking and also moaning about signing players the manager didn’t want,as that would have been Turnbull not Sparks who signed them. As for not being bothered about taking more money on match day, that is the job of a CEO, it’s his job to raise money for the club. Also seeing to the bird shit is also one of the minor things he has to get done as people complain of such matters, trivial though they may be. Just for the record he’s been in charge less than a year not two years as you stated.
