I do think there has been a lurch in racist behaviour over the past few years, dont know if its brexit or some underlying issues but it is here.
Funnily enough never thought it would happen here but i guess love is blind.
As a Mixed Race bloke (mum is english and dad is half indian) it does worry me, its hard when you try to fit in yet others insist on casting you out. It does sicken me, but i am glad to see people apologising and making everyone welcome!
Personally I do think a lifetime ban is needed as others will think it is acceptable behaviour.

Anyone chanting Tommy Robinson at bradford city should be banned for life. Its only football its not a human right. The more we give in to this behaviour the more they chip away at what we think to be acceptable and not. This wouldnt have happened 3 years ago they wouldnt have had the balls to do it.

Alot of the times it's not bloody teens. After the match with the thugs on the pitch from our end, they were about mid 20s, and one got decked by a copper - Twit - then his bum boy in the hat and glasses wanted to get in on the act and started shouting abuse at coppers until he got marched away by his girlfriend, how embarrassing! Alot of our 'fans' need to grow the feck up.

Ban the scum from VP for life. I'm sick of hearing about some of our fans behaviour this season, from the flare throwers to now this.

I don’t know the culprits ages, but most people do actually change through age and education is the best way to inform and change a bigoted view. Obviously they need some kind of punishment, but to exclude someone for life from an event they have interest in and enjoy will not help improve behaviour in later life.
I’ve learnt more in 9 years after sixth form than I did in all those years from being at school, because I matured, became less stubborn and wanted to improve myself. Everyone has that capability, it’s finding out what makes them tick first.Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... It seems like a lot of people are OK with this behaviour which I find quite appalling. If you are OK with this then you are part of the problem.
I started taking my son to games but the behaviour of some of our "fans" is making me question whether its worth it in the end. People laugh about Milwall being a family club. After this weekend what makes us any better?bcfc2015, BoingBoing, Allotment Bantam and 3 others like this. -
Sounds like not too bright kids in dullard gang mentality. Need talking to and engaging with, hopefully ending with a positive outcome.

I made some shameful decisions aged 17ish, which I’m wholeheartedly embarrassed about now 10 years on.

I bumped into a AFC Wimbledon fan on a local train down here yesterday who was on his way back from the game. Spoke to him about it and he told me that there were a group of young City fans run at them down the back of Holywell Ash Lane. There were so few of them, it apparently all passed by very quickly with the help of police.
The point is, similar this original post of the disgusting behaviour shown by a small minority of supporters, I’m absolutely devastated by some of the actions I hear of and have seen myself, that some of our following have shown this season. A small minority they may be, but with actions they are showing and the coverage that comes with it, there is a risk attached to it that it can become reflection on City supporters, one which has never been the case in the many years I have supported this club.
Bowyer speaks of a strong bond between club, supporters and local community. This is the Bradford City I know. I really hope the club can do all it can to eradicate these morons from the club who risk ruining it for the many others who respect the club and all those associated and around it.Stop hovering to collapse... @Boosh
You shouldn't be disappointed at some of the attitudes on this thread, if anything you should be postivie that it is being talked about, 95% of this thread has been constructive and healthy debate. Don't let a very small minority ruin your day out, at least not by idiots, the team from this season were quite capable of doing that on their own.WilsdenBantam, Dennis, Park bantam and 2 others like this. -

On the subject if guilty they should face a limited ban, and have to be educated on the matter.
Life time ban is the most stupid reasoning I’ve heard, that’s not going to stop them doing it to others in everyday life, but who knows with the correct education and guidance they might actually change their bigoted views. Crazy idea but maybe people at least deserve a chance to change?Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand...
