    Hi all,
    Forgive me I sound naive and living in dream world….. but hearing and reading about fan ownership and sponsorship seems to be a key factor for many lower league clubs.
    Sorry if this has been suggested or discussed before.
    Would a go fund me page or something similar help with raising money for the January transfer window?
    A quick example would be if everyone at today’s game donated a tenner, that could be around 150,000 grand. (If my maths is correct) that’s a lot of money for wages or transfer fees.
    I know some would argue that we have an owner that should be willing to invest etc etc.
    Why can’t we the fans, raise some money with expecting nothing in return, other than being proud that we helped with the promotion push this season.
    Again, sorry if I sound naive and deluded. Just a thought.

    Good idea, but potentially a massive embarrassment when it raises £2.50 and a mars bar from those who are screaming for Rupp to spend his money, but not happy to do the same themselves.

    If fans want to help and see city back to league one, we cannot sit back and wait for hand outs. I think those days are coming to a close. Money is tight for business man and women and investing in a football club will not be top of their list.
    The guys and girls in the corner section were awesome again today with the drums and singing but I think fan involvement needs to be taken to the next level if lower league clubs are to survive.
    Iam guessing the membership fee for the 1903 club has helped with extra funds?

    which is still cheaper than Halifax town. Match days still need stewards, police etc so how much of your ST money goes to transfers?

    If 15 year old boys cuddling each other while making strange noises is creating an atmosphere then so be it.

    May be I am beyond that now which is fair enough, each to their own but not for me.

    It's inaudible nonsense half the time, and they end up fighting amongst themselves at one point after the second goal

    Do I get a percentage if that player is sold for a few million later on or are we just raising money so a multi millionaire gets a risk free punt?

    no, you get to help the club you supposedly love and support.
    This club of ours, is our second home, a place to forget the BS of everyday life, a sense of belonging.
    You don’t want to contribute further, no one would force you.
