Where is it documented that PJ was involved in hiring GA or MH or DA ?
If PJ had been involved he’d have surely recommended Richie Wellens after he was sacked at Salford before he took the Orient job.

 

Even if this is just a guess, I think we all kind of know its going to be Jewell. He is a former player / manager who will get some to renew. He has been DOF at this level with Swindon.

Problem is if you read any information about his time at Swindon the only thing mentioned about his role was recruitment. He was responsible for talking to agent's, watching players etc... which is essentially the head of recruitment role.

What about the other countless issues we have, can he do any of that.

If we get it right on the pitch those issues disappear very quickly.

 

They disappeared in 2013-2015 too and guess what when progress stalled it came back with vengeance.

We can't keep ignoring our structural issues, if we want long term success. Now is a watershed moment for us, we are at, or near the bottom. So let's start rebuilding a club that can last another 120 years rather than just bobbling along.

Progress stalled because by Lawns own admission he couldn’t fund championship football.
He was fooled by Rahic just like Rupp was.
If by progress you mean we find an owner willing to pump in millions and not want it back then we’ll be waiting a very long time.

Jewell advised against appointing GA but Sparks over ruled him never seen it documented why would it be
What makes you think he would if offered take the DOF job like us he knows he would be constantly undermined
Sparks really needs stepping down before/if we appoint a DOF
We may even attract a better class of applicant
