As I alluded to yesterday evening, the Independent Supporters Board are now looking at protests. Details I'm sure that will be shared in days to come.

    @Bantam Steve@Bantam Steve

In the first instance could I ask if not already done, could you please join the ISG.

I am of the hope these will be peaceful and meaningful protests to exert pressure on our ownership to open dialogue.

Who ever listens to a peaceful protest? I’d suggest a very non peaceful protest on the pitch at the Tranmere game.

Do you think that would gather dialogue with the ownership?

I don’t care, it’ll do more than sending a bunch of fecking letters that never arrived.

Anybody got any examples of when this had a positive effect?

Have you got any examples of Rupps ownership having a positive effect?

    No, I didn't think so.

Back to thinking about how we effect positive change then.

IMG_2995.jpeg Need to organise something like this to get media attention, then it will snowball.
    Writing letters won’t work.
However, if the aim is to get rid of Rupp and Sparks then fans must be willing to back the club at current levels once that objective is achieved, even if that’s in the NL

Define non-peaceful. As in, what could it include as opposed to a strictly dictionary one.

owner of Reading seems to be finally selling up.

Protest by not buying a season ticket and vote with your feet.

Have United fans voted with their feet to get the Glazers out? No, Old Trafford is full every week.
Pitch invasions and disruptions is the only way.

An American and Saudi collaborative group are in exclusivity talks it seems with Reading, although nothing confirmed. The EFL told their chairman he needs to fund or sell a few weeks back from memory. Sky were reporting yesterday that he still hasn't paid the outstanding tax bill they've already had a points deduction for and will likely get another one if it isn't paid this week.

The Reading deal isn't expected to be completed until mid-May if the bid is worth it's weight on paper. But if he doesn't pay March and Aprils bill to HMRC, they could be relegated to L2 at this rate just due to his ways.
