    I posted earlier that I no longer believe it’s just City, I believe some clubs might have Covid cases and some won’t, but all are using this situation to take advantage, rest up, allow players to recover from injury etc etc.
    The PL have for many years campaigned for a winter break and this seems like a covert way of getting it.

    Are you suggesting some are being less than truthful? That they don’t have the requisite number of players suffering from Covid?

    Haha the news channels can't get enough of this shit. They have BBC news on in the gym but with no sound and it is literally wall to wall fear mongering. I'd advise anyone, for their own wellbeing, to turn off any news channel, infact turn off the TV full stop. By all means get your jabs and wear your masks if that's what floats your boat, but after that stop listening to the shite they keep spreading.

    Wish I’d have turned all news channels off last March. They’ve polluted my brain with fake news for almost 2 years to the point I’m now starting to believe it. Covid is no worse than a common cold for 99% of the population but yet now they want to vaccinate our 5 year olds ffs.
    The NHS is crippled not because of sick people in beds but because staff are forced to isolate when there’s no need to be.

    There's definitely a narrative being run through the main stream media. And it ain't just about keeping us lovely folk safe. Quite why anyone would need to know how many people have died or in hospital every bloody day other than those directly involved with caring for the ill is completely beyond me. Ghouls man.

    I did say if the first game back was away to Barrow it would give us chance to get the likes of Cook & Vernam fitter,. and its very much looking that way.

    My gym is the same, BBC News on all the TVs.

    I’ve been watching GB News recently, they give a far more balanced view by speaking to experts who don’t just suit mainstream agendas, and have panelist’s who have proper open debates. Much more refreshing.

    This is stupid. It's 23rd and isolation is 7 days. How can we be calling matches off six days out when anyone testing positive yesterday will be outside the 7 days ?

    Just a brief update @Loyalbantam@Loyalbantam .

    The Oldham Athletic V Scunthorpe United game has also been cancelled! Are you still suggesting some impropriety on behalf of City, or on reflection could you perhaps admit that you were a little hasty?

    Out of 12 fixtures, only two are now left, and there is still time for those to be affected by the rise in Covid.

    I was hasty to suggest it was just City doing it but I stick to my story that in fact there aren’t this many Covid cases in football clubs across the entire country to force almost all games to be cancelled throughout the entire Xmas period.
    They’re all in it together conspiring to achieve a winter break by stealth.
