Guy is contracted until 2020 at Derby.

Think he has a chance of getting into the Derby squad next season if they don't go up.

He needs to add goals to his game. We don't need him and Reeves. Wouldn't mind Reeves going and us resigning Guy on loan.

Was lovely to get a win, and was lovely to hear noise at both ends of the ground.

I’ve been accused of being negative, I’m not, I’m just feeling a bit frustrated that this is pretty much a meaningless victory after such a promising season has withered away. Yes, it’s great for us to finally have a win, and for morale in the dressing room.

But it pisses me off that this group of players have started to put a shift in, after the manager publicly called them an embarrassment on the radio. It pisses me off that these players are putting a shift in, after the manager said they are playing for their futures at not just Bradford, but future clubs.

Why did they need this wake up call? Were they feeling so comfortable in the top five that they basically thought they were going to walk the league?

Certainly confusing. Grayson has put a rocket up them for sure, something we know Stuart struggled to do. I just wished he’d cancelled their Xmas dinners and outed them in public a bit sooner.

I thought the same at the tim. But he has to shore midfield up because we were outnumbered and getting overrun. Lund took his goal well reminding us that he scored a lot of goals for Rochdale

But we were playing well up until Christmas, so why would he have ‘outed them a bit sooner’ or cancelled their Xmas dinners?

It was the eve of the FA Cup game at Yeovil that was the catalyst for our slump. Nobody knows what happened to drop morale through the floor and McCall couldn’t get us out of it in the 4wks that passed.

That saying, it still took Grayson over 2mths to ‘put a rocket up them’...!

Why does a defensive midfielder need to add goals to his game?

Because goals win matches and all players now in the modern game need to be able to chip in with a goal or 2 throughout the season.

I thought Nathan Thompson (no20) was Pompey's best player, kept Robinson in check most of the game, and he always seems to play very well against us. A very good wing back at the this level

I really enjoyed last night it showed what these players could have achieved if they hadn't downed tools in January, the quality wasn't always there but effort certainly was, hopefully the players continue with the same attitude in the remaining games unfortunately its too late for the play offs this year

I am not an admirer of McMahon, but I thought he had a cracking game tonight

Callum guy was outstanding, I thought Gilliead's defensive duties were phenomenal second half also.

Robinson struggled to beat Thompson most of the night and it made him then cut inside and wonder about. (which can be a good thing!)

What bothers me is that Robinson is sometimes on the throw-in's and he has a cracking throw especially into the box. Why isn't he on them at all times?!

Still trying to work out what attributes Kai Bruenker has, very poor again last night - but got to admire his work ethic.

Think i would give my MOTM to Tony Mac....i'm not his greatest fan but thought he was superb last night at both ends of the field. Funny how back to basics can bring reward.

Hiya, mate. Yeah he's OK. Had 3 bets with him in the last 12 months ....... He's lost 'em all, but always pays up. ;)
Better than me, huh ? But no worries, not forgotten my end of our deal. :)

I agree about Robinson, but seems to have picked up that shoulder injury in the last match. Yes he would be my no. 1 throw in.

You answered your own question - his attribute is his work ethic. He wasn't as effective last night as Thursday, but i don't think he's quite fit enough for 2 games in a week at the moment. Still put a good shift in IMO.
