Ta ra will eventually lead to us to 5 and 6 thousand hard core fans if the slump at our club continues.

I mentioned yesterday that two people who come with me that have had a season ticket for over 10 years have finally given up and have better things to do on Saturday afternoon's.

This season to me seem's a sea change with many fans support, loads of empty seats that I haven't seen for years.

The first half was indeed something to miss, @Bronco@Bronco. The second half though was very much improved and we were mostly attacking and in and around their box. Their keeper made several excellent saves including a spectacular one from a Doyle header that I thought was in and Ball hit the post. We were saying around us why didn't the team play like that for the whole game. There was tempo and drive in the second half almost entirely absent in the first. The players deserved the appreciative round of applause they got at the end. The disappointment was in not getting the three points. The Plymouth keeper was their best player.

To be frank @Park bantam@Park bantam ‘our position does not please me’ at all. I recall you made the comment after the season had started and the horror of the Collins reign (and Edin behind him in all ways) had begun to show.
My own take on the recruitments was that we were likely to finish lower than last season but by about 2/3 places. With the utter shambles of pre season, the humiliation at Harrogate and then the dreadful start to the season, the writing was ‘on the wall’ for all to see by the end of August.
I still hope we can find that ‘get out of Jail Card’, and then use it, but we are fast running out of games to achieve safety.

I agree when next years season ticket prices were announce the other week I thought anyone who had the slightest interest in Bradford City would buy one.
Two weeks later I'm getting more and more concerned that David Hopkin still hasnt got us performing consistently to anything like we can, now I can see why the likes of your above won't be renewing.
I'm really starting to doubt Hopkin is the man to take us forward if we do get relegated.

And if we are relegated bronco and the slump continues and if the season tickets sales are a disaster then people on here who wanted higher season ticket prices will get they wish.

Probably £300 to £400 pound wish with a smaller audience numbers.

I was surprised he left Clarke on the whole game. He did nothing wrong and was his usual tidy self, but I never felt like he presented much of a threat. I would have liked to have seen Wood given 20 or 30 mins down the left. I know he hasn't got Billy's skill but his pace and energy might have given us something extra. That said we had some top quality crosses coming in today from Caddis and Chicksen and for the most part our forwards got nowhere near

Hopkin said in his post match interview that on 70 mins he thought Clarke was looking tired (potentially thinking of taking him off) he then went on a run, beat two players and won a corner.

Furthermore the commentary sounded unanimous that Clarke was MoM.

Our closed season is certainly going to be interesting.
I believe the low cost of next seasons ticker and the clubs statement with regards April being the cut off, could have a massive effect on where Stefan sees our club going.
If we are still fighting for our league one status around the end of the offer I think we will be lucky to get 12,000 sold.
Like it or not, much now depends on how David Hopkin and his players perform untill14th April, and looking at some of the up and coming fixtures they don't fill me with optimism.

Good riddance. Don’t want them. Would much rather have 8000 who want to be there and support the team than fair weather fans who only get season tickets so they can go to Chelsea away should we draw them in the cup.

I think that us unfair on the supporters whom have purchased season tickets. To call them fairweather fans is harsh. And I bet the club, the players and sponsors want greater support.

I didn't do Chelsea, Villa, Leeds, Wigan. I'll be there next season irrespective but I know others whom won't be and haven't this season. I wish they would come but that is their decision

Well the good old Bradford city cycle looks like we are returning to our natural home of div 3/4 football and nothing much more.

I didn't hear the interview but think I remember the "run". He didn't have the pace to get past the defender and his cross hit him and went for a corner. I'm not knocking Clarke (although no way was he MOM), just felt Wood could have given us a bit more energy for the last 20.
What I though Clarke did do well was stick to his line and come shorter when needed to allow Chicksen the out ball down the line

That suits some of our fans down to the ground. Makes them feel a guilt trip if we are successful, "Eeh i remember t' days when there were just me old George stood ont' kop aht bottom division 4. Pitch were under 2 foot a mud and we din't see a shot on goal for 3 months. Halcyon days wi proper fans.'

You have your view, I have mine. IMO the movement, ball control and bringing others into play by their centre forward completely outshone what little bit of achievement Doyle brought to the table. He also had a fair turn of pace which is something else Doyle is lacking. With regard to O'Connor I also thought he had a good game and it was interesting to witness the battle between them. Where Plymouth let themselves down was that they also played with a sole striker until the late substitution so it made O'Connors and NKP's life a bit easier.
With regard to Clarke I thought that he should have been replaced by Miller for the last 15 minutes and taken the game to them instead DH played it conservatively and made sure we did not lose for the second home game running.

Clarke gives Chicksen space and I thought he was a real attacking threat. We’ve got to drop O’Connor- he just hoofs it wherever he gets the ball. As much as Doyle has done well at other clubs, we’re not playing to his strengths. Doyle, Clarke, Payne and Ball could work well together if we played on the floor.
Got to say, Hopkin’s tactics will take us down.

Anyone else think @JonButterfield@JonButterfield had organised another fly by yesterday. Don’t think I have ever seen a passenger jet so low over VP

Clarke was never Motm as long as i’ve got a hole in my arse. Any commentator who thought he was should give up football/

He wasn't MOTM, nor did he have a bad game. He was a steady component of a superior team that just needed a goal to take all three points.
