Ownership Structure

Most fans get behind the players stop making stuff up to suit your point, the first time the crowd turned on the club was yesterday Edin & Stefan up to a point have had an easy ride, a few fans on message boards and T&A column not happy and prepared to state as much.
Now we will see protests within the stadiums it was only a matter of time.
Its perhaps as well he's away because unless the fans see anything different on Tuesday night and we get nothing from the game I believe the chants will grow with every game.
You suggest fans stick together and ignore the debarcle that is going on in front of our eyes are you for real @brisbanebantams, please tell us how that would change things, lets get behind the clowns who have got us into this situation in the first place.
Your comnents with regard the youth development are wearing a little thin, if it wasn't for the fact we are suffering with long term injuries and senior pro's not playing anything like they should be doing our youth/ development kids would be miles away from the first team squad, it was Edins dream to have a conveyor of young kids making the grade and being sold on, many said at the time it was a massive gamble to spend money on anything but the first team squad, and unfortunatly for us fans it is proving even more relavant as the seasons go by
.

 

Unfortunately City have failed as a youth development club. In January 2017 we signed Matt Penney a left back, on loan from Sheffield Wednesday. He played 1 game. Now he's in Wednesday's first team and is getting rave reviews. Had his loan period been handled differently he might have an excellent replacement for Meredith.

 

You're suggesting we should have dropped Meredith and played Penney for the run in?

Let's look individually at things then...

YOU always bring up the xenophobia/race card whenever somebody criticises the owners, it's getting boring, we're going round in circles....no we are not we currently have a straight line down to League 2...we are the worst performing team in 2018 of the 92 clubs in the PL and EFL...FACT....we have had 5 managers/head coaches in 2018...FACT....had 2 entirely new squads.... FACT....

The club is falling apart currently....FACT....with the current owners....FACT....it's a collective when they are winning but only one person gets the shove when we are losing....FACT....the biggest decision for the club appointing head coach during the summer was err Collins, incorrect even Edin has said it....FACT....

Our philosophy was to play entertaining football, attacking football then got rid of a manager who did and tried to do it to be replaced by a reputable manager but one known for 'pragmatic' football shall we say....FACT....then promised entertaining, attacking, passing football under Collins which never materialised....FACT...

Policy was to bring on our own young players through the development squad, they aren't playing in a competitive league.....FACT....we signed 4 or 5 players for the development squad (Pybus, Patrick, Robinson, Grodolwski, Gunner), where are they now, near the first team? No....FACT....

I could go on but I'm bored as well....

 

I have read this a few times Brisbane and still not totally sure what you are trying to say as it goes a bit all over the place - but if you haven't yet realised the almighty bodge up the owners are making of our club and that is unfolding before our very eyes then I can only believe you have some closer attachment or vested interest in the stance you take. As well as the comments on this site I have just read the views on WOAP following yesterdays game and they are to a man and woman hoping Rahic never sets foot in our club again. I am not going to call our owners names and the vast majority are not making it personal - they are just totally fed up and at their wits end with the abysmal job ER has done at our club

The man in charge has no idea how to run or staff a football club.

That's all we need to know.

here we go again.. like i have said twice now. am i happy with the situation at the moment? no. can i see what the owners wanted to do and what they wanted to implement? yes. do i think it is working at the moment? no. but again, people who can seperate idea with method are being labelled as having a vested interest.

 

so, say edin leaves tomorrow. who comes in?

 

He wouldn't leave, there would be an announcement that the club is up for sale.

You don't just leave your house when you want to move, nor would you be expected to answer inane questions like 'Yeah, but who's going to buy it?' for obvious reasons that shouldn't need explaining.

Bristol City, Aston Villa, christ, does anyone ever know the guy who eventually buys them out? Some, probably, but let's stop this nonsensical garbage argument that nobody in the world has 5 or so million and an interest in a club the size of City when we've ONLY JUST BEEN BOUGHT OUT BY GUYS WE'D NEVER HEARD OF BEFORE.

If anything, let's expect that we'll get bought, and pray they can't make us any worse than we are now - which is the worst performing football club in England.

It all depends on what you mean when you say leave, if Stefan had any nonce he would get Edin out and employ someone who knew football and was savy with what it takes to run a football club rather than living the dream.
Please dont be so defensive with regards my "employee comment" you certainly know the goings on at our club that any ordinary fan would not be privy too, and as I've posted in the past to have the kind of knowledge of injuries to our players you must have a back ground in that sort of work.
I still class you as part of the Bradford City family @brisbanebantams, every family has a black sheep .

Your patronising attitude displayed in your postings does you no favours whatsoever ever.

1. Fact: the majority on here agree with developing our own young football and bringing in quality young players.
2.Method: the majority of on here don’t agree with R&R method, you need extra funding completely seperate from the working capital that we need to sustain and develop the 1st team.
3. Fact: young players need time and good coaching to develop. They need to complete with other young players, so they are no under too much pressure.

We all understand the plan, thank you, it would be helpful if you can try and understand that we don’t need an epistle to make the participants on this board understand it more. I suggest you go and have a word in his shell like and explain to him his method of achieving his plan is driving this club over a cliff. Good luck.
