If only there was a league one table based on which club has the most accountants amongst it's supporters. I think we would be in with a great shout of the play-offs, if not automatic promotion :grinning:.
Joking apart it is most enlightening.

2017 we had a lot of things fall into place. I'm not sure how it will be accounted for and whether transfer income fell in this or the next financial year.

There was the Nakki Wells sell on, Andre Wisdom sell on and play-offs/Wembley. Over £1.5m of exceptional income. We'd be really in trouble if we didn't make a profit.

Some of this was reinvested in players. Poleon and McCarten were bought during summer. Jones, Wyke and Vincelot had been signed earlier that season as well. We also got money for Hanson and Clarke.

How much of that has been payoffs to sacked / failed staff and players, and payments and expenses paid to himself and his wife under his tenure? Add to that the money paid to Agents and expenses to "replace" the exodus.

I wouldn't be surprised if we're actually paying more money to people no longer at the club than the people who are actually here! (with a couple of exceptions)^.

Every single penny wasted by the owners should be paid back in full PLUS investment from their own pockets.

Look at the squad compared to 18 months ago, and the staff!
Pretty much everyone who cared about the club has gone. It's like being sent back to the Dark Ages, on AND off the pitch!

I have not seen any evidence to suggest they have put any additional funds into the club over and above the purchase price (which went to the previous owners not the club).

It is a tricky one. There have already been several messages to the owners if they chose to listen. They lost 3-4,000 STs; there are many more empty seats at VP beyond that reduction; questions have been asked of them by FoBC and now the Supporters Trust and social media and fanzines have been less than supportive! Briefing of newspapers at home and in Germany by a certain ex employee appear designed to create an impact. And yet little has really changed. Protests by fans have been non-existent, the occasional Edin Out chants last for a couple of bars and peter out and despite the empty seats at VP there hasn't been any mass non-attendance. It might be that some future properly organised protests or banner waving or billboard advertising might have some extra impact but I'm less than hopeful. Rahic in particular doesn't strike me as somebody who is overly concerned with all of this. He believes in what he is doing and his arrogance seems to prevent him from changing tack.

Which leaves very few options other than doing things which undermine the basic financial integrity of the business .. reducing its income base! Or if you like doing something which will really hurt Rupp and not just Rahic. Rupp might well be a better target than Rahic because he has more to lose.

Most fans get behind the players stop making stuff up to suit your point, the first time the crowd turned on the club was yesterday Edin & Stefan up to a point have had an easy ride, a few fans on message boards and T&A column not happy and prepared to state as much.
Now we will see protests within the stadiums it was only a matter of time.
Its perhaps as well he's away because unless the fans see anything different on Tuesday night and we get nothing from the game I believe the chants will grow with every game.
You suggest fans stick together and ignore the debarcle that is going on in front of our eyes are you for real @brisbanebantams@brisbanebantams, please tell us how that would change things, lets get behind the clowns who have got us into this situation in the first place.
Your comnents with regard the youth development are wearing a little thin, if it wasn't for the fact we are suffering with long term injuries and senior pro's not playing anything like they should be doing our youth/ development kids would be miles away from the first team squad, it was Edins dream to have a conveyor of young kids making the grade and being sold on, many said at the time it was a massive gamble to spend money on anything but the first team squad, and unfortunatly for us fans it is proving even more relavant as the seasons go by

And you belive that ?, I gave you more credit than to even think the fans have given anything but great vocal support to the team.
I was not there yesterday but after another very poor performance the crowd lost patience and started chanting Edin out and maybe giving the players something to think about, but it was the first time this season, to say how our performances generally have gone this season they have done very well not getting slated more.
Mind games @brisbanebantams@brisbanebantams its gone on for years.

I am not sure if you went on Saturday, but despite some turgid football, I think the crowd did not get on the players backs and indeed made a lot of positive noise until we conceded!

Don't all away managers say that when their team goes to a big ground?

@Bigrod@Bigrod , I sit upper tier of the Kop and whilst the supporters in the main, didn't get directly on an individual players back, the moans and groans, finger pointing, frustration, head shaking and general negativity was far too often throughout play. It occurred when there was a breakdown in play, an attack by a Rochdale player or a Rochdale player carried the ball forward, a sliced clearance, errors or ball that didn't meet a fellow City player, indecision.
It wasn't all the time and genuine bursts of city play were greeted well but my overriding feel of the day , was of greater negativity.

For the first time I really felt that some of the fans were losing/have lost patience with the players and I'm sure they are sensing it.

Well I am sorry but I am with Edin on this. If the other accountants won’t do as they are told then he is within his rights to appoint his wife.

ER Sportsgroup GmbH was set up by Christian Engl, who helped ER & SR become investers in England. Engl resigned after the purchase of City went through. ER & SR are the the sole representation with the power to enter into legal transactions on behalf of ER Sportsgroup GmbH.

These are the holding groups which ER owes/made:

didn’t mcmanus post the following? now that may have been false also, i’m not sure but i’m sure people will be happy to compare your proof so that they can make a fuller informed opinion.

“This is the holding company, registered in Germany which owns the UK Bradford City registered football club.

    https://www.northdata.de/ER+Sportsgroup+GmbH,+Landshut/HRB+10112
    https://www.northdata.de/[2016-03-04]?id=1336005013&type=publication

This is paid back monthly to the tune of £27k
    Edin gets £11k/m salary
    Silke £2k/m”

Which takes us back to what was said when they took over. The only way they will make any money is to get us promoted. If not they haven’t got a hope in hell

I'm a complete dunce when it comes to companies and tax etc but seeing as Rupp has essentially loaned himself the money, could it just be a (ahem) tax efficient method to reduce any profits? e.g. Rupp could conceivably sell BCAFC for more than he paid for it but for less than the outstanding value of the loan which would mean that he'd end up with more money than he started with but make a loss on his balance sheet. Same would go for any ongoing management fees that the club pay to ER Sportsgroup.
