We got rid of him and brought the invisible Guthrie in. What a time to be alive.

They should divert some of the excessive amount of money the premier league makes to help smaller clubs who if the league has to end playing behind closed doors could finish them

If the players get it and pass it about like they pass a ball none of our lot will be capable of spreading it.

Completely different view. This season will finish in the next two/ three weeks. There will be no promotion or relegation. There will be no financial support from the PL. As Adrian Chiles said on 5 Live yesterday "If you think the PllL will give support, think again". They stand to loose £750 mil TV money . Today Jet2 turned every flight to Spanish territory from UK round mid flight. I'm due to my house there in a week, no chance. This carnage is going to last til the start of next season or October in my view. There will be significant casualties but I think if anyone can grip it Dave Baldwin can and will come June when he starts at EFL

Instead of blaming Johnson for this mess the blame should be laid squarely with the Chinese. These things seem to always start there, strange eating practices, live animal markets and a lack of basic hygiene.

Our elderly supporters have suffered through 50+ years of City. I'm sure 4 months of anything will be more than manageable for them ;)

I fully respect your view, and @Faithful Bantam@Faithful Bantam. Yes if you shut down the country and enforce it with the Police and Army, this virus will decrease, as China has demonstrated. Yet not one expert, has told me what happens next! As I keep saying no easy answers, it is a natural reaction to try and shut it down immediately. However, keeping ppl isolated for weeks/months will have a massive detrimental effect on ppl, and in the end it is unsustainable. What we are trying to do is manage this to maximise keeping the most vulnerable as safe as possible, maximises and increasing capacity of the NHS, and yes keep the economy going as much as possible. We need the economy ticking over albeit at a lower level , protecting ppl health and the economy goes hand in hand. I honestly don’t believe that the economy is priority number 1. I maybe wrong about all of this, but then I don’t think anyone has all the answers either. Here is a couple of things we all need to think about.

    1. we do not have definitive view how this disease is transmitted? Yes it is a respiratory disease and we THINk it transmits like other flu type viruses.

    2. We have no idea how to deal with this beyond shut down it stops and then what next?

    3. Why is affecting the elderly and vulnerable much more than other groups?

    4. We have no idea beyond brute force how to get ppl to comply with massive infringement of human rights beyond a couple of weeks, or how to control anxiety and panic.

All I would say is this, it is an immensely brave decision to not follow others, and to try to use data and other factors to try and manage. I don’t think there is a box marked pandemic which each country picks up and meticulously without deviations employ on their individual nations.

For the last two weeks I have gradually withdrawn from society, because I don’t want to put us at risk. The government hasn’t told me to do this I worked it out myself given what was happening.

Let's be honest, who really cares at the moment? It's quite clear the club lives from day to day with no real ambition of bettering itself. A lot of our support seem happy with that cos it's the Bradford way innit.

If it comes to all matches being played behind closed doors then I-Follow should be offered free for ALL home and away games....( I could have been Prime Minister had I been given a better start..!!)

I think there are no easy answers. Experts are springing up all over the place. I actually think suspension is the right course rather than playing behind closed doors stops fans congregating in the pub or elsewhere.

I agree. I was still going to go, but given the lack of good hygiene facilities I was questioning whether that would have been good idea.

Funny the lack of good hygiene was going to put me off (although I'd had gone). Ridiculous in 2020, the club still run a 'no hot water in the toilets' policy : unamused:

'Force Majeure'. Voiding the season is probably the least complex in legal terms.

They could always try but I doubt they'll be successful. The footballing authorities will simply roll out the force majeure argument. That's not simply my opinion; it comes from a football lawyer
