    Join the club mate.
Orient used to do a good Jamaican pop up food stall, hopefully it's still there.

In fairness though, optimism is your default standpoint and even 8 points adrift last season you were adamant that we were getting it right.

I've just bought a ticket for the Cambridge game bang in the middle of the West Stand. First Bradford City game; really, really looking forward to it. Saturday can't come soon enough.

I'm actually a Newcastle United fan but feel truly depressed and hopeless about what's happened there. I can't face the thought of investing any more time, money and emotion into that club. The one I grew up adoring - which formed a massive part of my identity - doesn't exist any more. And it makes things unbearable when you're part of a fanbase that refuses to resist and stand up for itself. I get depressed when I look at the continent; the likes of Lazio and Dortmund gladly making sacrifices in the interest of the greater good, but our lot just won't, out of some faux loyalty. Ah well, I assume there's some greater societal issues forcing their way on the issue. Anyway. I shouldn't bitch.

I've been reading a fair amount about Bradford and enjoyed the news about your equivalent force of negativity leaving the place. There seems to be a decent amount of optimism, a few good players and a good manager. Plus I've always had a soft spot for the kit and for Valley Parade. Just seems like a really traditional club very much entwined with its roots; something I feel that I've lost. So here we go, Howay the Bradford.

What sort of attendance are we expecting for the weekend? There looked to be a shed load of tickets still available which surprised me, given the remarkable attendances last season in pretty dismal circumstances.

    Hope you enjoy your visit.

Over 13,000 season tickets have been sold for this season. That figure also includes flexicards which is an agreement where a supporter can pay a relatively low fee up front and then just pay £10 for each match they wish to attend.

Last season, the official attendance figure included all season card holders and flexicard holders, regardless of whether they attended the match. A lot stayed away for a large part of last season, but they will have been included in the official attendance figures due to having a season card/foexixard so the official figures were not reflective over the genuine number of people at each match.

Valley Parade holds around 24,500 and I would guess that there will be an official attendance of something like 14,000-15,000 on Saturday. If you enjoy your visit, you’ll easily be able to get tickets to any other Bradford City home matches, unless we draw a Premier League team in the cup.

Don’t know which to laugh at. A Geordie coming down to watch us instead of the black and white army or @Interested Bystander@Interested Bystander being subjected to watching Josh Wright at Orient

Welcome to our club, we take orphans, offcumdums;) and it’s Howay the City, lol Bradford is a reference to the other club across the city. Bradford Park Avenue, which is even further down the food chain.

Seriously though it makes very hard reading the woes of Newcastle over the last few years. We were lucky in that we managed to kick ours out of the door. The Toon fans were always passionate and supported their team. The only thing that seems to matter now is money in football, and I know it isn’t going to be any different, the fans who turn up to support their team are incidental to the ruthless pursuit of money.

Hope you enjoy the game, I sit in the West Stand, good side on view, and you are close to the action, which is more than can be said the last time I visited Newcastle, we didn’t have drinks at half time, but a good few puffs of oxygen;)

Back to Saturday, I just cannot see Scannell being dropped. Let’s face it, he should be one of the absolute stand out players in league two, with the ability to tear many teams inside out. True, we shouldn’t accommodate him at the detriment of the complete starting XI, however I am confident Bowyer has worked all this out and knows what he’s doing.

I’m expecting 4-3-3 on Saturday, with a midfield of Palmer, Anderson and Scannell.

Does anyone have an update on what is actually happening with Colville? Haven’t seen any update on his contract yet and assume if he hasn’t signed he’s not eligible for the squad on Saturday?

Scannell won't be playing CM, he'll be on the wing like he should be.
