    No creativity if you drop scannell. Personally I don't see any point in playing all three strikers together unless we've got a very creative midfield which we don't. Plus if we start all three we won't have a striker on the bench which we'll need should we not be winning the game.

    I’m not sure how many midfield battles there are in league 2. I recall lots of smashing it up front and looking to play from there?
    Strength required everywhere but particularly up front.

    We have got Palmer for creativity. Yes we could do with another but we have enough in the Squad to get of to a good start and see where we are. There is every reason for optimism.

    And he challenges for headers something Akpan is reluctant to do, yes I'll say it again for a lad with Akpans build he should be more aggressive and boss midfield more.

    He can't be anything but really can he Bronco, but in reality the proof will be in the pudding as they say. I'm sure he'll be positive about Patrick too, but the evidence so far presented gives me the realility in that he's shiiittteeee

    That midfield 3 if it is like pre season will be 2 centre mids and 1 as a CDM dont think scannell would fit in there, gotta be part of front 3 with vaughan and Donaldson but doyle will no doubt get last 20 mins

    Difference being our job doesn't depend on the likes of Palmer delivering, Bowyers does.
    I'm very optimistc for the coming season, but then again I always am.

    I too am always optimistic at the start of any season. It just gets zapped from you sometimes as the season completes. Occasionally like last year very quickly
