Which club in the league will be paying more than £2.6mill out in wages? Notts County and Luton had the biggest budget the season before last which was set at £2million. I cant even imagine Salford are going to get close to that if they want to stay within FFP.
Swindon have a budget of £2million and their manager Ritchie Wellens admits they should have been promoted on that kind of budget.

I still don't understand the whole Robinson scenario.... There is a player who played League 1 last season and had quite a good season and scored against us who is facing heavy charges if found guilty but he is playing week in week out?

Crawley Town and MK Dons had a higher budget also.

2.6 isn't as much as it sounds in 2019. it's still decent, 'competitive' as the club said it certainly is,. itll be top 6, but i bet it isn't the biggest.

if it is 'by far' the biggest then why. might aswell drop it to 2million, save some money and still be among the top spending clubs.

I've no idea, if that's the case I just wondered how two clubs policies might differ because he clearly made a huge impact at Donny this season.

I can't imagine thats true, I remember a photo floating around of someone people mistakingly took as Robinson but was later proved it wasn't him.

This is a little better by WOAP.

However, this dressed up as a sh&te sandwich which is aimed to take the pressure off Rhodes and Rupp getting results.

A 2.6m budget is ok to be fair plus player sales/or off the books.

Bowyer will want to keep some of the players last season and it is unrealistic to think all the 16 players will leave.

However, I expect pomotion next season and I think we urgently need it.

The main point I got from the WOAP is that Rupp isn't really willing to put his hands in his pocket and I don't care how often he is picking up the bloody phone he isn't highlighting any vision for the club and I have to question his overall desire.

We need an owner that have a drive to make Bradford City the biggest club in Yorkshire and if Rupp isn't the man then he needs to feck off!!

Don't let anyone lower your expectations or ambitions!

Bradford City- automatic pomotion! Anything else is FAILURE!

Budgets are no certainty of promotion
A good team has team spirit and a willingness to go the extra mile (obviously with more than a little talent) Last seasons misfits had on paper the talent but very little else
Can't understand the club wanting to keep many of last seasons miserable failures ( why would they suddenly develop the will to get back to where they were last season) and failed so miserably to stay there If they didn't have the talent to remain L1 players then yes I could understand that
But why reward a total lack of effort, interest, bad attitude, general malaise with a chance to do it all again on last years showing the players need the club more than the club need them

Because it was mainly the clubs fault.

    Awful pre season
    Poor coaching
    About 4 managers
    About 5 captains
    Poor recruitment in January
    Edin

Some of the players Bowyer does rate but Bowyer has to earn his money and coach these players & improve them.

It's unrealistic to think a club will get rid of 16 contracted players.

When a player crosses the white line it's all on his own shoulders to at least put the effort in and show pride in the shirt no amount of coaching can achieve that
The club didn't teach the poor couldn't care less attitude displayed last season
GB had long enough to coach something into these players but nothing seemed to work what makes you think a couple more months would make the difference
