    The reason I posted the above is I believe Sheffield United won't have enough quality around him and will struggle all season, and in this case the lad moving up into the Premiership will be hard enough, but we shall see if he moves there.

    You see players do this though and never get that chance again even if they do well as some other hot prospect comes on the scene and you can get a rep that you can only do it at that lower level. Players if given a chance to shine in the PL have to take it

    Reckon there’s more to it with McCormack, released from Villa with a year left on his contract after loans in Scotland, Australia and at Forest. Add in his argument with Steve Bruce because he could make it to training when his gates got stuck. Make your own mind up .

    I wouldn’t disagree. There is arguments for him staying at Swansea and moving on, yes he will get the prestige and a bigger bank balance if he moves, plus anything could happen if he stays at Swansea, he could improve and earn the club and himself an even bigger club, alternatively he could get injured and his price may well go down.

    Whilst true, you have to look at it from both sides. What if McBurnie gets a season-long injury, ruling him out of being able prove his worth? What if he stays and Swansea struggle and he gets no service?

    Look at Doyle. Nobody remembers his goal scoring ability, other than what he did last season in an abject team. Folks were clamouring for him following his record at Oldham but because he was as badly played and got zero service, some want him releasing on a free.

    That's true, but the Doyle scenario is far more likely with Sheffield United (new club likely to struggle) than at Swansea, where he already is a success. Just like Doyle perhaps should have stayed at Oldham?

    But Swansea have just lost one of their key players from last season. Taking away goals and assists, James will be massively missed by Swansea and McBurnie in particular.

    Without service, McBurnie could easily struggle and lose his reputation

    Better to struggle in the Premiership than struggle at a championship side. I actually think he will do ok and may end up Deeney esque
