It will either happen or not, I'm happy with the way Rupp has allowed Julian Rhodes and Gary Bowyer to go about club business, I'm sure Julian is keeping him aware of exactly whats happening unlike his ex partner.

 

I cant get my head around that the gangling raw youngster we briefly saw turning out for us a few years ago, is now valued at £20m. Fair play to the lad, and well done Rhodes and Lawn for negotiating the sell on clause

 

Most likely will go to Stefan with him putting £2M in to cover Edins mess. Bet its paid in installments too.

if the club/GB see any of it then fair play to Stefan I say.

Big difference between the two was their age though. McBurnie was a teenager when he played for us and at the time had not at all filled out. He struggled to impose himself on games because of it and mightve got a bit bullied at times by CBs twice his size. Technically he was always sound though. It was hard to judge him at the time.
Patrick is now 23 and I haven't seen evidence to suggest he will make it

I spoke to Ryan Sparks a few weeks ago, he has read over the contract which apparently is a fairly thick document and he says it clearly states that it has a 15% sell on clause and that Swansea have acknowledged the sell on.

Ollie McBurnie, very much on the radar of newly-promoted Sheffield United, is the big one thanks to his switch to Swansea City including a clause that means Bradford will receive 15 per cent of any profit made by the Welsh club.

The Scottish international left Valley Parade in 2015 for an initial £250,000 fee that has since more or less doubled thanks to add-ons related to the striker’s progress.

If the Swans do sell for the much touted fee of £10m plus, there will be plenty of smiles at Valley Parade.

None will be wider than that sported by Stefan Rupp, the club’s German owner who will be making a rare visit to Bradford this weekend for the clash with Liverpool

If Stefan takes the money then its probably fair but if he gave bowyer just enough for 2/3 more quality players he could witness us win the league. I hope that point will be made to him.

 

Agree - I did mention in another post the positive pre-season he and Gibson have had. Not just in the way they have played but as well in their general demeanour. Lets just hope some of last years flops can become a key part of our promotion push this year

 

He'd be a silly lad to turn it down, I'd assume a much better salary, a good signing on fee, playing in the Premier League.
Back to God's own County, and reallocate to Leeds to see his beloved Leeds United when he's not playing, you know it makes sense Oli sign on the ........line.

Not sure some think it’s his brother, dad or an uncle. Tbh don’t know or care, I just remember saying a long time ago how would this person have a clue about an arrangement between the two clubs. And was proven right, Oli needs to be a bit shrewder in the future instead of engaging with fans about a sell on which he’s wrong about. Maybe his agent can advise him in the future about how he handles himself.

Either way good luck to the lad, great opportunity and a big club. Hope he does well.
