No not at all but calling for the owners to go solves nothing.

 

I have been unhappy with proceedings since leaving the moronic hoards of Millwall at Wembley Stadium.
The current regime would like everyone to pull together for the good of the club understandably but if your not happy with the appointment of a head coach as apposed to a traditional manager then it becomes hard to change your own Individual view no matter what.
Results and performances have been poor for some time not just the present ones.
Are the many tactical formation changes during a game really warranted.
I don't think so what ever happened to good old 4 4 2 and stick to it at least the playing personal would know their positions .
One chap asked me why do you bother if all you do is moan about your team?
I replied in two words" i care"

 

A good post with some great points but it doesnt answer those simply calling for the owners to go. That isnt going to happen and simply adds negativety around the whole club and splits the support.

 

I can understand where you are coming from
In the short term no benefit but think passed the end of the season
However when did the negativity start
How do we eradicate this negativity
What does the long term future hold for our club
A manager/ Head coach who has no control of the team or signings
Eleven seventeen year olds on the pitch running round on the pitch with one sole purpose to be sold and really not caring about our club
Unsustainable crowds of less than 8000 ST prices will have to increased to cover the shortfall
Becoming a feeder club
Am sure a few on here can add to the list
Not wishing to add to the negativity on here but things have gone sadly down hill since we lost the play off final and now we don't have the experience or caliber of personnel at the club to Halt the inevitable decline

 

Maybe not, but the way the club seems to be being run leaves me saddened.

I've never known a bigger disconnect between the owners and fans and that includes the administration times.

Nah, not compulsory, but it’s comes across as a bit odd if you only come on to whinge when we lose. Surely with your attitude you can find faults with wins as well and say Collins should be sacked after a win?

 

I agree with everything you say.
Having spoken to a fair few diehard supporters of late who have seen it all over the years,I get the feeling we are not alone in our opinions.
If some of the older brigade feel the same god knows what our younger supporters think.
All the hard work building up our fanbase through various ticket campaigns and community initiatives could become an unattractive proposition if things continue.

Irrespective of Collins not being up to it, though three games is too early to judge and I don’t recall people calling for Parkinson to be sacked when he picked up three points from his first six games, there is no evidence at all that rahic is picking the team and tactics.

If Collins fails then he fails on his own terms.

 

The only way to get rid of Edin is through the real owner Rupp, Edin is an employee of the club and can be replaced by Rupp who owns 80% of the club, If he feels his investment is at risk by continuing Edins disastrous policies he will either replace him hopefully with a more traditional chairman or he will sell up and move on.

 

Could rupp be talking to gibb and about to present rahic’s departure to him on a plate ?

Put over 50 years in myself so I suppose I could be classed as one one of the older die hards you speak about It is extremely worrying that a lot of the younger end without years of support for the club are dwindling they are the future bread and butter of the club and now feel very little affinity
I dont feel the club has the connection now with the fans this was strongest during the admins I for one rattled tins and took part in fundraising to keep the club alive how many would do that now
We used to have management and players that bled Claret and Amber the last of those left with James Mason ( like him or not)

Have you not seen the picture of Rahic in the Southend game, what could be possibly so important he had to bend over the fecking stand in the middle of a game?

Now I'm no fan of our owners but even I will say that is just plain silly.

 

Sad to see how our current predicament is turning fans against each other. Disappointing and frustrating as it is, we all need to get behind the team for the next two home games.

 

@Nick_W_ is the sort of fan who stays to the bitter end of a 5-0 defeat at Blackpool then applauds the players for their efforts.
