I have to say, @Ricky is one of a small number of posters I would believe.

 

True... anything is better than our owners that don't want to spend on players and have their own agenda that doesn't work.

 

I fear the same but it makes no sense.

As someone said in the other thread, it’s time for them to “shit or get off the pot” before too much damage is done.

The only way that they can maintain the value of the club is by investing to rectify their mistakes. Failure to invest will just see the clubs value diminish so they might aswell sell it.

 

I’m far from Lawns biggest fan but rumours were that he didn’t want to sell to these guys and was supposedly shafted by Julian.

 

Let’s just see who they are and their plans before judgment. I suspect Mark Lawn may be part of it and I don’t think you thought much of him last time

 

They do for the good of the club but do they have any personal need to sell?

 

If it's true about Rupp losing interest then he will take that offer no doubt. Not sure where that leaves edin mind

I think Rupp will bite there hands off can see edin been more of a problem

 

So if they are to offer £6m (the mythical figure), have they the money left over to continue with the plan to relay the pitch (£1m), continue the spending on the infrastructure, then spend what is earmarked for bringing catering and club shop inhouse and then still be able to invest in the squad

 

And yet I have heard that . R&R have paid already 2 of 4 installments of the agreed price with the 3rd installment due imminently. The counter offer by the previous incumbents is to take the club back without the last two installments, therefore effectively taking the club back at half price.
Take that of what you will.

 

As the other thread says, “it’s decision time”. Either stay and put the money up to fix your mistakes or sell and get out.

As for Edin, he only owns 25% so if Stefan sells and he wont then just freeze the bastard out.

 

Doubt they will agree to that

 

Hopefully either way it means that here’s some dialogue going on and some compromise can be struck.

 

And already the rumour diverts to two totally different things. One would be a good offer and the other wouldn't.
