You misrepresented my post by saying I was the one who said the owners have ambition, when I was just pointing out what Lawn had said 2 year ago. And missing my point that I don't blame Lawn for the lack of investment now, my problem with him is his desperation to tell us how great the new owners were at the time, when like Rhodes he should have just left quietly.

Hehe fair point. He gives easy ammunition though, I can't say the same things about Rhodes as Lawn, and for all I know Lawn might be a better owner than Rhodes, but I doubt it.

We all know his past with the club he craves media attention why would he not shout this latest revolation from the top of Bradford Cathedral.
If there is some form of truth in a possible buy out I would exspect it to come from the Lancashire area.

If that’s true then surely Rupp has to invest? Why wouldn’t he want to sell the club given that by holding onto it and not investing then we’re going down the shitter!

 

Only one of the current owners has deep pockets and from the outset it seems he was never going to dig very deep,
The secondary owner seems typical of a CEO playing with someone else's money until the money tap is turned off . He now has very little scope for manoeuvre without taking on debt, this is without none or very little capital to borrow against himself

Very true, but it wasn't information about the club he was giving out regarding the new owners. He was bragging he'd done great business for the club getting in owners to take the club forward, only problem is he was talking shit. The proofs in the pudding.

 

Because he is in a fortunate position to be able to write off his investment.
While his investment lets say is £4/5 million is only a dream to me, to him it is a business mistake to move on and not invest any further funds into.
To invest another £1-2m there is no guarantee he will get a return and he's another 25-30% in.
Hey will get some money back from his original investment as we are always worth something, its just that nett worth is diminishing as we go further down the league
