But the management, and management structure has now changed. Maybe Cullen respected Stuarts way of dealing with things, and doesn't want to come to a club, where lets be honest, is nothing like the one he was at before. Yep he knows the fans appreciate him, but he wants to come to a club which will progress him enough to be a first team starter for his parent club.

The Club and officials will do whatever it takes to turn things around I'm sure but so frustrating that the whole scenario so far defies any reasonable logic.I think we all want them to succeed but no-one can blame the fans reaction to how things are unfolding at present. Need a BIG shot in the arm this week to regain a bit of impetus.Fingers crossed they can deliver!

 

O'Connor did similar as someone said at Aberdeen,but this has a few possibilities in regards intent.He may,as an individual player and vice captain,be genuinely,and personally angry at the way some players are performing.If saying this without other players knowledge then the team could either buck their ideas up or take offence,making the situation worse.

He mentions it's unfair on Collins so is this a ploy from the top to agree with the fans in respect of performances,but saying it's not Collins' fault so Rahic's decision to appoint Collins is not the problem?

If that's the ploy it doesn't hold water because if that's the case, then it's recruitment that's at the heart of it and who did the recruitment? Yep,Collins,Drury,Abbott and Rahic.

 

He puts so much into training he didn't have the energy to wave his arms or shout on Saturday!

 

For a club that has no need of a football "manager", he certainly seems to be struggling with the concept.

 

If I see 11 players breaking their balls to win the game at Fleetwood it will be a start, I have to say it is possibly the most critical article I have ever read from a City player still playing at the club surrounded by the playes he is slamming.
I don't go alone with his comment with regards the coach, he is the guy who makes the calls team selection, team formation ETC, during Saturdays game he looked lost and well outof his depth which I suppose is a little understandably for a guy who has never coached at this level.

well, there has to be a reason that last season's team mysteriously turned shite in January, and that this seasons team are already shite. it's something to do with the atmosphere at the club, from the top down, and how people (and team mates) are getting treat.

these are good players - Mellor, Akpan, Scannell, Payne, Doyle are all good players. McGowan, good player. they aren't playing well. much like the team that last season we're looking good for promotion, suddenly became relegation fodder.
McCall couldn't fix it, Grayson couldn't fix it, Collins can't fix it - time to look further up the totem pole I'm afraid.
