    No it doesn't.

It says he's pissed off with being dangled a carrot of a job and having it taken away because we can't decide. He's available and got a decent record, he's also unemployed and not like Stuart who has made a very good living out of football at the highest level. I remember seeing the annual accounts in 1988 and Stuart earned £75,000 then so he's not desperate for cash, unless he's squandered away the top flight earnings he got for near on 15 years.

Hurst has mouths to feed so if someone in a similar position to us offers him a job then he would be daft not to take it.

We need to stop this procrastination and make a decision. I love what Trueman & Sellars have done but they aren't the short to medium term future of this club. Long term, absolutely and get them tied down to show some loyalty and create a win win situation, but in the short term we are fire fighting and you wouldn't send a rookie firefighter into a fire the size of Busby's or Drummonds Mill.

Someone posted above (all Clarke did was provided the assist/through ball for Sutton to score) which turned out to be the winner if that was his only contribution in every future game he played he'd be the first name on the team sheet for me.

Don't think we need to worry about him going back to Grimsby. I listened to this interview the other day where he was quite critical of Grimsby's unwillingness to improve the infrastructure of the club. And it sounds to me like he didn't appreciate the new manager getting what he had asked for previously.

I don't get the critics of Billy Clarke. He has more quality than most of the team put together and we look a better team with him in it, not sure about him being on the right but it did right footed Beagrie no harm playing on the left.

All the talk about Hurst is pure speculation maybe he is just one of a few they have looked at for the job but are waiting for someone else. I for one am glad it’s not a knee jerk reaction for once.if they aren’t sure leave these lads in charge until they are

I don’t think he’ll go back there personally, he’s been quite critical of them previously, but stranger things have happened. Maybe Adams at Morecambe, he’s a proven fire fighter - gets teams organised and playing as a unit. Agree though, a decision needs to be made either way, I still think it’s the biggest January in the clubs history - while I’ve been alive anyway, 3 decent performances doesn’t paper over the fact we need quality bodies in the building.

All well and good park but we have possibly the most important transfer window in the club's history coming up let's be fair our current team can drop the good form and return to type at the drop of a hat we are by no means safe
The lads have undeniably done a good job but it's very early days yet by all means reward them with a contract for the academy but let's get the new man in and start to progress soonest

Clarke and Novak have made a massive difference, the system the team being asked to play looks like they are comfortable playing it may it long continue. .

The transfer business is being taken care of we shouldn’t be rushed into an appointment unless they are certain they have the right choice

I think the return of Sutton has made a big difference a tackler in midfield was needed badly

You know that for certain do you ?? Who by
Be better if the new manager had some input after all success or failure for him will be judged by the performance on the pitch
and surely he would want his own players
We don't have time to waste the current squad is either too temperamental or just not good enough

I fully agree with you here.

Not a massive fan of Sutton but he's the one that's made the difference. I have all the pressure on a young player in Watt was foolish.

Sutton takes that pressure away because he can play in DM or CM. Cooke is better as a AM

Sutton has made us more solid

How can it be not many decent players will join a club without knowing the manager and sparks has said the manager gets the final say on who we sign

How? If anything it proves my point. 6.2% of 16 is one! How absolutely bad is that?! Never said it was only league games either.

Managers should choose their own players from a list provided by the recruitment guy. Let the former bring in the wrong players and it impacts on recruiting the right manager.

Going into 1st January with no new manager and allowing Turnbull (?) to bring in new recruits is putting the cart before the horse.

Really can't understand why people can't see that. Whoever we sign in January we are likely stuck with until June 2022 as a minimum.
