    It would appear a flurry of bets have been made today backing Hurst on the back of the T&A article this morning, which is fair enough. Just out of interest, how are you so sure he will be announced on Monday?. Are you linked to the club, are you Ryan Sparks?

    Betting suspended now on next Barrow manager, I believe Michael Jolley was the name whose odds tumbled overnight. We are still not at that stage, indeed, you can still get odds against for Hurst.

    It's not very good since 2013. I fail to see what he'd give us, other than tales of been good up to then

    It's this habit of going for someone who's best was three of more years ago, that's causes the issues with all these clubs who go for a 'name'

    I'm fine for us looking at someone who's failed recently, provided there's some understandable logic behind it and they've had significant success before then

    Taking Southampton into The Premiership 8.5 years ago, doesn't count
