Lowe lost 6 on the bounce in the league now. A part of the fan base are calling for him to go or at least change his approach. Same as in L2 which worked well of an attacking at all cost approach and try outscoring. He's kept that in L1 but a lot of better ball playing teams are tearing them apart.

His wife and kids are still living in Liverpool, he rents an apartment in Plymouth for the days hes down for training or matches, so will be a much better experience? But cant imagine Plymouth will pull the trigger on a promotion manager before Christmas.

Might be a family based move if we pitch it well to him? Just reading his interview with Plymouth paper when he joined, his two kids are now 14 & 12, cant be easy being away from them and the wife or 4 or 5 days a week.

 

He’d have never left Bury if they didn’t go bust, suppose Plymouth was just the best option at the time and no one likes to be out of work. As I said in my last post I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s put a job application in.

I wonder how Sol Campbell came up in conversation between @wetherbywhaler and their directors ? Was it a "sound out" just in case conversation or did they genuinely just say we wouldn't be in this position but for Sol Campbell ? Either way I hope it is a conversation that has been fully fed back to our CEO.

What happens if we appoint him and he then gets elected as Mayor of London ? How much time would he spend in two camps campaigning even if he ultimately didn't get elected ? I can't see him giving up on that candidacy even if he (by some miracle/ act of poor judgement) did get a job as a football manager.
