No it isn’t under the salary cap it’s vital we have a flow of youngsters. Of course first Eleven is the absolute priority but the manager should be taking a big interest through out the club

The fact that at least six ex players who went unpaid were also party to a similar action seems to have been overlooked

Maybe that's the only way we'd actually sign Tshimanga...

If Sol Campbell got the job and someone could unpick the stitching around the ‘m’, he could use McCall training gear and it would save us a few bob.

    Going all in on Campbell.

Why, because he's favourite with the bookies?

I hope neither Woodgate or Campbell get the job. Both have failed in their previous roles, I think we need a more experienced manager in to navigate this crisis, who has a clear and proven style. Alexander has done well, id be happy with him. Its unlikley to be Cook or the Cowleys so he'd be my first choice

no, because he’s about the level we can expect. Did well at Macc and well you just have to look at Southend and listen to their fans on what they think of their club at the moment.
We aren’t going to have managers with vast experience wanting the job. We know we’re a mess and we must look a mess from the outside.
Ex managers and players have touched on the fact that our facilities aren’t great. Not having our own training ground etc. Poor squad. Inexperienced CEO. We aren’t exactly an attractive proposition for a manager who already has a decent name for himself.

So Campbell definitely couldn't turn Macclesfield or Southend around, so it makes sense that he'd magically do better at Bradford.

    Good call there.

Sol has won 12 games in his managerial career, out of 53. That's a win percentage of 22.

And you think this would represent a good appointment.

I'm not saying you're wrong, because until he's appointed nobody can know for sure, but I will say you're definitely wrong and it's pretty obvious.

I don’t want it to be Sol Campbell but he is a Leader of Men and a top class defender in his day. If he can bring organisation to the back line and is backed in the window maybe its not too bad till the end of the season. But then again im crapping my jocks thinking what if it goes wrong

Tony Adams was probably the best center half England had in the 90s and he was arsenal captain for all that time too. But he was a rubbish manager. It means nothing what he did on the pitch. Sol Campbell does ok in jobs but nothing more. Not for me

I've asked it before and I'll ask it again, what difference does it make whether we own our own training facilities or not? We have pitches, we have the use of a gym and a pool, we have changing rooms, catering - if we owned our own, what would you add to make it better? We are in league 2, the facilities we have are more than adequate for this level and the one above at least. Can we stop pretending Apperley Bridge is a reason prospective managers and players might be put off coming her just because full of himself Grayson slagged it off?
