Next home game, protest

With how quickly things have turned sour this season, my trip to Shrewsbury away feels like so long ago.

My first home game this season will be Charlton. I’m really curious to see what the atmosphere will be like.

Was it a bad atmosphere against Wycombe on Saturday?

It started good and then quickly deteriorated as we witnessed some of the most spineless football we have seen for many a year.

It was truly shit and I am not kidding.

In the second half, there were many shouts from the upper kop that were not complimentary towards ER or MC.

Wow... I wonder what we'll see at the Charlton game, with that being our next major home game. I don't think many will turn up for the Everton U21 game.

Normally my reply would be never try and predict Bradford City, but at the moment I have to agree, a point would be good from these two away games.

 

Don't let the minority bring race, brexit, Tommy Robinson or any irrelevant garbage into the conversation.

There have been a couple of posters who have tried to link disatisfaction at our start to the season to some sort of right wing xenophobic hatred. These posters are nothing short of pathetic. One fan confronting Edin Rahic does not constitute a racist fan base.

 

Agreed, posts like that falsely inferring some other agenda should merit a warning from moderators imo.

You cannot defend an incompetent employee by claiming criticism is more sinister than it is. Playing the race card or indeed the politics card has no place here.

 

This sort of post should warrant a warning in my view, and has no place in the discussion.

Terms like EDL and racism are entirely unwarranted.
