    I heard his interview:

I said ages ago during the Bowyer days that unfortunately with the full backs we have in Wood, Henley and Mellor you can't play attacking football using them.

Wood is the only full back I would look to keep.

However, McCall made the keeper captain then is blasting him for slow distribution or going long when he should pass to the full backs. Every single Bradford fans knows that R'OD is slow at distributing the ball. Haven't McCall and Black watched DVD's of us this season?

I just think McCall isn't helping himself at the minute. Reeves is better is a 3 man midfield and Devitt needs to be in the squad at least.

Do your homework McCall and sort it out. Blame yourself if needs be because the problems are straight forward.

I want to see a plan mate, a long term plan of at least what they are trying to achieve. Might not work, no plan is foolproof but at least give me and others hope to keep supporting this lot in the future. Just making everything cheap ain't the answer, I want the owner and CEO to come out and tell me what their realistic expectations are for the future and some sort of remnant of a plan to achieve this. I will not aimlessly back this club with my support, it's a two way thing.

Yes and lets face it these were not individual comments but an overall feeling. Stuart will be totally frustrated by the powder puff bunch he has inherited and we have to stick with him and let him build his own team this summer before we seriously question his impact. I really hope he starts to weed out those he knows are not up to it in the coming weeks as we really need to see some sort of vision for the future come the end of the season
And talking of vision, to those who run the club, how could you let GB stay until the window was over and then sack him? The player decisions reached (both in and outs) leave me totally baffled, who the f... was in control?! It seems to me they were praying for a couple of decent results to pin their hat on but sadly they have just come out of this as culpable as anyone for the mess we are in. Seriously Julian, shame on you for a total lack of positive leadership

Shrewd point about the keeper. He makes mistakes when he rushes with his distribution. No point getting on his case in an away match with the match scoreless. I did not get that.

The fans are crying out for a plan now, we've appointed the right coach for the next 18 months IMO but one who once again doesn't suit the players and who wasn't given a single day in the transfer window to operate in.

Once Stuart has given us a footballing squad, we need to make sure there is a succession plan and the next appointment has to be in a similar mould NOT a defensive, direct, long ball kind of manager.

What are we striving for on and off the pitch, and the answer "trying to get back to League One" doesn't count because it's redundant drivel.

When there are two in midfield as today they were getting over run in their midfield area never mind helping out in defense, that team selection had to be at it from the off or you are likely to have players coasting (not always their fault if they aren't getting the ball) as IMO our widemen were and even though we went in front we were hardly convincing, and it just got worse.
It needed a change at half time maybe a wideman off and Pritchard to help shore up the midfield, very rarely do managers play two out and out wingers, anyone watching the game either at Newport or live on TV could see that we struggled to match them, this is a team that hasn't won since October, low on confidence I would think riddled with injuries and go a goal down at home yet within 2 minutes they are level.
We often hear the phrase "manage the game out" as kids at school its drilled into you, "you're at your most vulnerable after you've scored" surely it's not beyond a professional footballer to take these sort of situations on board, then after watching that dire first half maybe it is.

I told everyone what we need to do but because it's not a fact I got shot down by some.

Problem currently is Rhodes! He just cares about season tickets. No long term plan.

Is McCall really the best man for the job? Not sure mate.. he's had chances here.

He's the right man because he guarantees the support of the crowd and because he'll turn a negative squad into a footballing side. Whether we get promotion with Stuart is another matter, and that's why the succession plan is critical.

Let Stuart put the basics in place, and if he fails, hey, at least we're not playing Bowyer-Ball and can proceed with a manager of a similar ilk.

take all that on board Bronco. But like you I've seen it all. Spineless is what I thought today. A disgrace to the club and the supporters. Seen some poor performances over the years but we are becoming a joke.

Well you say this but Devitt is even in the squad and he's kicking off at the keeper he made captain.

I don't think he guarantees the support of the crowd as I said it before that when you go back to something you get the buzz at first then you quickly realise why it didn't work out before.

Plus we are in div 2 and fans don't want to see it really.

The performances under McCall have been worse that Bowyer in patches mate.

    McCall has start helping himself.

I'd love to know the basis for that statement. Sounds like bollocks to me. 1-2 years, maybe. After this summer we'll have very few players tied to overpriced contracts. Largely a clear deck in the summer if we want it to be. We've had windfalls that cover the deficit he created last year.

Sounds like the calling card of a club without a plan. A whingeing excuse, that was self inflicted to begin with.

Pound for pound, there are fewer clubs more mismanaged than we are. But perversely, I dont think there are many more attractive lower league candidates for a wealthy investor/speculator either

Can't argue with that mate but I do think Rupp wants to try and bring success without much outlay, if you remember when they took over that was one of the comments they made about not throwing money at the club because they had seen how the previous owner had brought success to the club without major investment.
As we know that was mainly down to Phil Parkinson being backed as much as Mark & Julian could, our situation at the time was based on the owners having faith in the manager and no knee jerk decisions when things were not going as well as they had hoped, as new owners they got unbelievably lucky that first season, I have to ask if Rupp thinks it can be achieve again short term I think we know it can't.
It took Parky two seasons from his arrival to get us out of this division which looking back was some achievement, so unfortunately it might be the same with McCall, I was hoping not but if we fall away as its looking then he has to be ruthless and get rid of the shirkers and start afresh.

It's a sign how far we have fallen when people keep moaning about Devitt not being in the team. I'd have to think twice about putting him in my Sunday team.

Why is the first stand point make excuses of Rupp. Some people I know think he should a fraud and worse than Edin. I can't argue with them.

This year div 2 was weak but next it won't be. Just think with Rupp and Rhodes this club is going nowhere. It utter clueless. It's mess from the top!

I thought it was a strange prediction for an associate director of the club to make even pseudonymously. By the way, what is an associate director!

    1. The 'keeper in my opinion, should never be made captain. That job is for an outfield player who can get around barking out orders etc. It's impossible to do that when stuck in the penalty area.
    2. If finances permit, McCall should now be looking at the out of contract players in an attempt to repair the damage done by the likes of Bowyer & Rupp. There is still time to get into the play-off positions, but not with this lot we have now. Another centre-back to marshall/organise the defence would be a start.
