I would have thought Low Moor to Odsal would be less than a mile, certainly not nearly two.

No it is the ‘stadium’ which is the problem!

If you are talking about the 'stadium' itself then that would be a new build. The argument in this thread was the the location was a problem to get to, 20,000 crowds albeit the best of 20 years ago suggests the location isn't a problem for people to get to.

Sizeable amount of people walk in from BD2 area, like me and me old man used to before I moved away. Pint at the Bolton then have a mosey on down to VP, which we did since I was old enough to walk. Didnt seem half as far once I was old enough to have a beer and my legs stopped being so little haha

    That wasn’t the question.
You asked where people could get a drink within a 10/15 minute walk of Odsal and I gave you 6 options.

Or Luton. Been there? Best bet is to keep your doors locked when driving through it. And they are possibly on the verge of Premiership football playing in a 10.5k capacity stadium, one mile from the city centre.

    Exactly.
All the same ones that were available when the bulls regularly attracted similar attendances (albeit a few years ago) to ours.
With,I suspect an even worse public transport system than there is now.
All yours and the ones I quoted are on,or are very close to main arterial bus routes.Manchester rd,Halifax rd,Rooley ave,St Enochs.

Whilst not a drinker,I was brought up 2 streets from the Craven Heifer and have attended enough events at Odsal(football, rugby, speedway, stock cars, firework displays) and walked past a few pubs to know that it’s had it’s fair share of decent attendances over the years and I presume this was from the whole of Bradford and not just the immediate area surrounding the stadium.
I will add I think the actual stadium is cold and unwelcoming tip that should have been filled in years ago but that’s not the discussion we are having.
This is based round a new stadium.

If we are talking about rebuilding Odsal surely it can not be reliant on Richard Dunn site just staying as is. The council are actively looking at ways to redevelop it, so I don't think you should include any use of the all weather pitches etc as they are unlikely to be still there in 5-7 years time which is the time scales we would be realistically looking at.

On the flip side how many park spaces are there in official car parks at VP? and how many on street are used? Is that more or less than is available around Odsal?

I totally understand your point. Yes not everyone wants to drink cask beer and that is their and your choice. But if only four pubs do sell cask beer, and say between them they can accommodate up to 800-1,000, given the attendance at VP, then a mere four outlets is not going to meet the needs of the supporters who regularly do. In the equivalent area around VP there are 12 pubs and the Latvian Social club.[

This scenario is just as relevant at VP though.
I’ve been in VP many times on a cold/wet/snowy midweek game where the crowd was down by thousands.
Walsall on a Tuesday night a few seasons ago was the wettest and coldest I’ve been at a football match for a long time.
I then endured a 15/20 minute walk back to car as did the many hundreds of fans who park on the streets towards City road/Thornton rd/Listerhills.
I’ll word my original question differently.
If we moved to a stadium in South Bradford,do you think season ticket numbers would drop by thousands?

I lived in BD 6/12 for 37 years and have been back in BD2 for the last 20 years (supporting the Bantams since 1973). The cask beer issue is a good point but not a game changer for me, I'll settle for a couple of pints of Guinness or even lager pre-match and afterwards head for Jacobs Well, Corn Dolly, North Parade for my celebration tipple post match.
My point is, yes I would love to see Valley Parade finished with the Main Stand and Midland Road joined up. Having said that, if the club decided the best course of action was to move to a NEW stadium on the Odsal site I wouldn't be dead set against it, I would just workout my travel plans for matchday.
In 14 months time I will be retiring and moving to the coast. I am already working out my travel plans back to Bradford for the home games and who will have the pleasure of giving me a bed for the night on a Saturday.
