I love stuff like that. Proper creates excitement. The time when Wykes car was spotted, the other time when we could see the new kits through the windows when they were doing the photoshoot, the meet in Browns with Gianni.

We haven't had something silly like that happen in ages.

 

I keep mentioning it but the whole Palladini / London pub meeting with a copy of a paper was absolutely spellbindingly brilliant. Back in the C&B days but my wife thought I'd lost my mind, sat looking at a screen and bursting out laughing for no good reason.

 

My mate just text, says he’s seen an old battered VW beetle parked in Burlington Terrace Reg plate ‘R4 HIC’ with some chubby looking bloke with a Bosnian / German accent muttering something like “I know football” and wanting to know where Josh Wright is?

no one thinks we're signing someone in the class of De Gea, but there's a world of difference between that class, and O'Donnell, who quite frankly, is shite. it's far from impossible to find someone better than him. Hornby probably will be.
