Absolutely! I hardly ever post here because of the nit picking. Imagine if people spoke to each other in the pub the way they talk to people here. You’d soon be told to stop being a dick and jog on.

Spoke to Reeves recently, said he couldn't wait for training to begin. Bowyer seems to like him and got him involved last season, doing rehab work getting him confident again, then joining in with the lads in a week or two. Gonna be a very decent midfielder if he can stay fit!

 

Not for me. Don’t burden him with that, just keep him fit and let him bang them away every week....

 

Donaldson and Vaughan or Doyle and Miller. Hmmm... difficult

 

Imagine if we signed Salah last season and just lumped the ball up to his head like we did with Doyle. Strikers graveyard is Valley Parade.

 

I’ve no idea what he was on then or what he’s on now. Just speculating based on different circumstances. 10-15 then, 2-4 now I reckon. Probably at leat half way on each scale.

Not arsed though. If we’ve got him, and he stays fit, I think he’s dynamite.

 

After last season watching Doyle, Miller and Bruenker, if you told me were potentially having starting strikers in league 2 of the likes of Donaldson and Vaughan i would definitely be getting aroused.

 

Not the specifics of why, what, when or the argument & counter argument but the undermining, aggressive tone expressed by some.

Very off putting and unnecessary.

 

Absolute blinder if somebody at the club has passed J Vaughan around to try find out who the leak is, brilliant ha ha.

 

Denise Van Outen would be even better.

 

At his age it’s about playing as high up as possible with as much money he can get. Nobody can blame a player for taking the money

 

Honestly I dont see Vaughan as being our saviour. If he signs, meh ok, good luck to him hope he does well. If not there are better players out there I think Bowyer could get hold of.

If its between us and Tranmere, and he goes there, it's not for the crowd, it's not for the prospect of promotion, it's for a relegation battle and the dollars clearly. Mercenaries are not wanted here anymore. If he chooses Tranmere I for one will not lose sleep. I reckon there are players around better than him who would come and join us for the right reasons.

 

If you had said we could have Eoin Doyle 12 months ago i would have been happy. But last season has really put me off him, i know the service to him wasn't good and being used the way he was wasn't his game but his all round game really disappointed me. He is painfully slow and his finishing looked average at best. I'd rather we looked at a player with some pace to him up front.

 

You can just see it, all this will he or wont he, eventually signs for us, and knowing our luck, turns out like Aaron McLean

 

Maybe he’s in charge of heating at Town Hall?
