It’s like anything in football, nothing is guaranteed. We have to have another plan for just that scenario otherwise it’s poor planning. If we hear the back word from Adams and then have to start a recruitment process off the back of it that’s on Sparks.

Like most managers they seem to fit certain clubs and do nothing at others, IMO he will be a good fit for Morecambe and has two promotions and a play off in his record

 

Morecambe are more akin to Rochdale in terms of size than the other clubs he's managed.

I hope he's a success there, to be honest.

Like you I prefer cask ales, Taylor's Boltmaker is favourite of mine from the days when it was Taylor's Best Bitter. Although I must admit that my beer of choice these days is Saltaire Blonde, which I will be enjoying at the Royal Oak Eccleshill tomorrow afternoon.

Good theory there and Rupp would probably have been involved and in agreement with it all, which would scupper the view some people have that Rupp shows no interest and has no involvement in the running of the club.

Well this is a step backwards for Adams but im hoping this time next year its 2 steps forwards, im hoping he now raids the morecambe squad for those out of contract players and bring them to VP to win the title

That’s the only thing that disappoints me promotion to division one is a magnificent achievement for such a small club and for various reasons they haven’t been able to celebrate it properly. I wish them well next season

 

Yes takes it away from their achievement, but there were several reasons, not just Adams leaving. Players out of contract have gone on holidays, Covid etc etc etc

 

Anyone heard any updates on T & S? I thought the club expected a decision early this week on their position on whether to stay or go.
