Some sanitiser, an away priority ticket and a load of home games will seemingly get you near the top of the ladder. There's never a pefect fit with these ideas but this needs a rethink.

It’s not fair away fans should be most rewarded, however that doesn’t really benefit the club financially. From a business POV this will help sell more memberships and away priority tickets so makes sense, I do think they missed a trick not getting points for cup games though as it might encourage more to come and more money in the coffers. Many on here have said in the passed that it’s important in business to squeeze every last penny you can get out of your customers, it’s a step in that direction although does need some tweaks.

I know Sheffield United have a similar scheme and I suspect a lot of other clubs, I’d be interested to know how theirs work. I’d be surprised if the club hadn’t done research into what works best for this type of scheme, that’s just sensible business.

Them were the days, what loyalty was all about.
Today it’s how many attend away games. You can purchase away tickets : a child ticket for let’s say £5, adult ticket £25 and OAP ticket £20. £50 in total . Collect your loyalty points thanks from Ryan.
Or buy three replica home shirts from the city shop pay upwards of £100. Collect no points from Ryan.
    Loyalty in action

Ive no problem with the club trying to raise revenue but I've never agreed with a priority away ticket, I've always believed that fans, that the hardcore band of supporters who follow the club everywhere should get first dibs on tickets for limited allocations such as Harrogate or possible cup runs where a top team is pulled out of the hat. I guess there's no perfect solution but then the chances of you needing the points is probably slim anyway unless we draw a Liverpool or storm the league.

    From a Windows PC:
When you've logged on, it should say something like "Hello Storck, 12345" at the top right.

Click on the "Hello Storck, 12345" (not on the drop down list headings) and the 'My Account' page should appear. Your loyalty points will be down at the bottom right.

‪So it is 150 points for a season ticket and then do you get 20 points for every home game you attend? Or is that just if you buy a ticket for the game ?‬

I suspect they don't have the technology, at the moment, to accurately track actual attendance, so I suspect each season ticket holder will get 20 points added around the time of each home match.

I hear you but then "loyalty" has different meanings to different people.

In addition, why not add in club shop purchases if its about putting money into the club? Or suite upgrades?

Its a creative idea but come half way through the season I hope they have a way of allowing 12,000 people to easily check if they have any points missing without having to email the club.

Surely there is no way to track home fixtures. Just give seasons ticket holders 610 points now?

away games should be tracked by location. Eg so many miles equals so many points. Every 50 miles is an extra 5 points or something. Based on valley parade to the away location.

good start but needs clarification and improvements

The 20pts per home game needs clearing up. Is that what POTD get??? They would only need to go to 8 matches and would receive more than a season ticket holder. Unless ST holders are tracked too - but how?

Id also look at more points for away games further a field. Same points for Exeter and Oldham doesnt seem right.

Yes the 1903 club is just those things it’s also a way of providing extra money for the club which a lot of people wanted to do it is right if there is to be a loyalty scheme that it should be included

At the risk of being wrong:

It seems fairly clear to me that this loyalty scheme is intertwined with the ticketing system. Therefore, season ticket holders will get their 150 (bonus) points, plus 20 points for each of the 23 home league matches. Non-season ticket holders will get their 20 points for each match they purchase a ticket for, whilst to get your 10 points for away match you will need to buy your away tickets through City.

As others have said, it is a scheme very much promoting the purchase of tickets/memberships that benefit the Club.

I wonder will happen with the less popular home cup matches (including the Trophy)?

I'm sure more details (maybe a Q&A) will be forthcoming.

I suppose in one respect it’s a bit of fun and another way of activating the “ supporter engagement “ process.

What I won’t accept is someone being paraded all over the press and social media as

“Our best and most loyal supporter”

Because that will be utter B/S
