Sparks all of a sudden starts skipping into work now

 

So what if he gets it wrong?

He's left twice already, the man is bullet proof, anyone pretending his legacy at stake is kidding themselves.

 

Some real miseries on here. The club have put a smile back on most fans faces today. What harm does planning a scarf parade for his first game back and putting back up the picture Rahic tore down in a strop gonna do? It’s total shithousery putting that picture back up and I love it.

Can’t wait for Saturday and can’t wait for us to go away and actually look to win matches again.

I can’t wait for Stuart to deliver success and to see him arm in arm with Rupp - and to know Rahic is squirming.

 

I was more referring to the mental state of our fans, rather than Stuart

Unfortunatly the last time we had anything to be positive about was 2 years ago when Stuart was last in charge, it seems like a lifetime, we are still nicely placed for at least a play off place it just a matter if Stuart can change the squad mentality and turn our form around he knows what expected and love the mans enthusiasm.

 

Rumours are that edin ripped that picture off the wall when he sacked McCall.. Nice to see it where it belongs anyway!

I think the picture going back up is quite funny and a nice thing to do.

The scarves for stuart thing is cringey though and looks like someone trying to justify a job. The atmosphere on Saturday will surely look after its self and we can surely save the gimmicks for when we need a bit of a momentum push after we get some results.

 

I totally agree. I would rather have fans happy smiling waving their scarves and singing Stuart’s name than the grey depression misery we have had for the last two years. I went a bit over the top myself

 

I think you underestimate how many fans like doing something like this. Whenever the club have asked fans to bring colours and scarves, it has been a surprise to me how many actually do, which leads me to believe that they like doing it.

 

For the young kids and families it is a bit of fun. My kids lost interest months ago in this season and would rather sit at home playing on their Switch all day. Stuff like this might be a bit cringeworthy to adults but the kids love it - it looks brilliant in the stands.

I think that's fair although I seem to remember that the last one we tried bombed in comparison to the early ones.

Stuart rightly seems to be very keen to have everyone focus on the output on the pitch and he's dead right to do so. It seems the club have started out a bit of a circus around him though which I'd prefer to calm down until we actually got some results. It's not Stuart's fault though.

 

I’m so pleased he’s back, and for the first time, probably since his departure last time, I’m looking forward to going and supporting my team again.

Many people, myself included felt that he was well and truly shafted last time, and felt he had done a decent job in ridiculous circumstances.

If it works I will revel in the ‘vindication’ I feel in continuing to support him in the face of many critics, if it doesn’t, it should finally, provide some ‘closure’ to the whole sorry affair.

stuart is home, we have our club back, and we can enjoy going to VP again. Long may it continue.
