Mason Greenwood - a disgrace

This is a very strange case where no one with any part in it has come out of it in a good light. Certainly not Greenwood despite not actually been charged with anything has evidence to suggest he is an abuser and has more than likely done it to his partner before. because why would she be filming this evidence if it was just a one off. But then even the filming is strange, we can't say for definite that the video evidence was actually caused by Greenwood and who lets a tiny nick on a lip drip all the wat down their body past their navel? Most would wipe it off their face before it even got past their chin and her actions after the alleged offences lead me to believe theres more to this than meets the eye. Which is infuriating because that domestic violence is a cancer in society. Quite ironic that despite them now being all lovey dovey for the cameras and her not wanting to press charges, her actions have actually curtailed his once flying career. If she was going to these lengths to uncover a woman abuser the least she could have done is followed it through.

 

Money

 

It's a fair point, money and fame make people act irrationally.

 

My understanding is she is a local lass from Bradford, we my wife is also a Bradford lass originally from Buttershaw and I can assure anyone if I had ever laid a hand on here she would have certainly given as good as she got but more to the point her and both my daughters would have walked.
Any sort of abuse is IMO not a part of a loving relationship and the first time should have been the last, never mind taking time out to take pictures of said incident.

 

That's the part I can't fathom. Why go to all the trouble of recording the alleged abuse with audio and visual evidence, what was the end game to all this? In my eyes this has done nothing to back victims of genuine domestic violence, I'm just glad it wasn't my daughter, it wouldn't have ended so well for the lad.

 

I haven’t seen the video. However, I can only assume she did the video for a reason; it is very difficult to speculate her reasoning. I suppose it could have been money, but she would get that if they decided to go their separate ways. She might well have wanted more power back, as she would certainly have had that in the beginning. Who knows, but it is a very sad affair, alas lots of women withdraw from taking the matter to court.

 

It would have resulted in me in court but then if any member of my family were to be threatened i'd willingly take that chance. A friend of mine was once a foreman of a jury in a case of domestic violence where the female was stabbed over 20 times, only surviving with luck and the sheer skill of the paramedics after having an artery cut. Near the end of the case she pleaded with the court not to send her partner to prison despite him trying to murder her. I guess love runs deep with some folk.
